Its your time to vote for the your most awaited Platinum*. I have no idea if this has been done yet, but I thought it would be nice to share our thoughts about coming Platinums. ;)

Answer to this topic by saying what you've voted for and why, if you want to.

** Platinum Editions refer to the original 10.

Have to vote for my favorite Animated Classic: The Little Mermaid

As for The Rescuers...well, Tangela did label this as your most awaited Platinum Release. While there is no plan to do TR as a PE I don't doubt for a second that this one is the one he is awaiting the most.

Cinderella, most definitely. I like Aladdin more as a film, but I have a strong connection with Cindy as that was my first Disney movie and my favorite for a loooong time. Also, since Disney always gives it the royal treatment in anything, I expect Cinderella to be a mind blowing DVD package to rank right up there with Snow White. These factors all contribute to why I'm most anticipating Cinderella, but Aladdin and The Little Mermaid are both very close behind. :D

Well, Cinderella was Walt's favourite princess, it was one of his favourite films, and the scene where Cinderella's rags turn into the gown was his favourite piece of animation.
Plus, it's one of Disney's best from the Second Golden Age. So it will get the royal treatment, and even surpass Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

I was waiting for Aladdin for sure , but I am torn between that and Cinderella. Both are on my top list.

I'm looking forward to them all, but especially Aladdin. My other favorites include Cinderella and 101 Dalmatians.

Actually, I do care about The Jungle Book... but it is my least favorite from the Platinum Collection. Still, I think it might be a heck of a DVD, specially considering this was the last animated film produced when Walt was alive.
