I will for sure! I thought this movie was wonderful. The story was entertaining and all the effects and characters were just beautiful. I can't wait to check out some of the special features, I'd love to see a "making of" featurette.

I also hope it is two discs, although I think it is safe to say it will only be one disc. I love this movie. It completely blew me away. I was not expecting it to be anything like it was, which was a plus. I mainley just hope we get some nice featurettes, and not just about the creation of the CG Terabithia.

I thought Bridge to Terabithia was a waste of my time. Yes, it was original but it should have been longer and should have been a Narnia type of movie. I think Bridge to Terabithia has too much hype yeah the friendship and imagination part was good but they should have had more imagination action parts.

I would have like to see the movie be a bit longer as well, and I absolutely loved Narnia. However, this movie is geared towards kids, and I think most kids would have trouble sitting through a 2.5 hour movie.

Maybe we'll get lucky and see an extended edition DVD release.

If BTT was a waste of your time, why would you want it longer, man?

If Bridge to Terabithia was longer it could have made the film more intresting since they could have added more imagination adventures between the two friends.

It was based on a book. Plus, adventures are sorta a waste of time if they are imaginary, what danger is the main charaters in if it isnt really real. The movie was great, go watch Edragon or somthing. Sorry.

I will be buying this movie, too. I would loove it to be two discs, but I don't see that happening. I'm sure the bons features will be Disney Channel-kiddified as well. I bet we can expect to see

AnnaSophia's music video
a tiny behind-the-scenes featurette
a few games
perhaps a Hannah Montana music video

and a little more, but not much more.

And I thought the movie was perfect in length. If there had been more "Terabithia" scenes, it would have changed the emotion of the film.

I have seen several comments that were just the opposite. It added to much action that was not in the book. Oh well cant please everyone. I am in for a purchase based on reviews and comments on this forum.

Well it looks like this DVD will release on June 19th allong with Winne the Pooh. The cover art will be the one on the web-site I posted as the 1st post which is great news. If you go to link removed - in violation of BVHE announce date you can see how the Ble-Ray versions of this movie, Cars, Pirates, and some others. Under the Blu-Ray movie you see the release date. link removed - in violation of BVHE announce date go to this web-site, then click on trade ad here and you will see what I mean. So happy with the cover art. One of my fav. live Disney movies of all time, if not all time fav.!!

i have a question? did disney only have the rights to distribute this movie in america? in malaysia, they took out the disney name, and logo and everything. its just "walden media presents..." theres not even the cg castle logo in the opening. :( anyway i tot the story was good but somehow i think if i read the book my imagination will take me to a better place.
do you still wait for me Dream Giver?

That's pretty interesting, akhenaten. I know Disney has been a distrubuter for many films in the U.S when they had little to do with their creation, but I've always heard of Terabithia planned as a Disney project. Even before it went in full production, it was here on Ultimate Disney as an upcoming movie. It would appear that this is as much a Disney film as it is a Walden Media film. What I find curious is that more often than not, studios need connections through other distributors in other countries. For example, for a while in Japan, Disney music was not released on Walt Disney Records because they didn't have a Japaneese branch.

Anyways, I know that when more than one studio is involved in a film, distribution rights get jumbled between them. (Eg: "Titanic" was made by Paramount and Fox. Fox had theatrical distribution in the U.S., Paramount had home video distribution.) Perhaps in the contract, Walden Media got distribution rights in certain countries, including Malaysia. It seems strange that this would happen, though, because Walden Media doesn't seem like a big enough studio to have their own foreign distribution. They are a huge book company, but they have always relied on other studios for funding and distribution of their films.

Hmm...I can't decide if that's real or not. It looks like it could be fan-made.

 AnnaSophia and Josh are on that cover three times.

They should've used the outstanding poster art.

I hate the artwork. It all goes towards the whole movie being completely mis-marketed. I wasn't a huge fan of the poster art, either. It's interesting that they use the same painted image of the kids from the poster art. Everything else seems to be taken from either the film or real photos, so it looks weird to have the painted kids in the center. Hopefully it is just a mock up and even more hopefully, the whole thing will be scraped for better art. Maybe it will grow on me, though.

It looks like a faker to me. Besides, UD would be one of the first sites to have cover art, and since it's not here, I really don't think it's that reliable, even if it is Amazon. Oh well, it was a great movie and I hope to pick it up alongside "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh".

The cover art is probably real, but as the DVD probably isn't supposed to be officially announced to the public for another twelve days, I've probably avoided sharing details on this DVD and Blu-ray. Namely what's on it, when it's coming, and also what it looks like. (So long, suspense!) April 13th is the official date, and I should have a press release and high-res artwork available then. Probably. :)
