They already had one.

Anyway, I'm a huge Land Before Time fan! :D So this series, has me a little exited. I've seen the commercials, and while I'm a little worried it might be targeted specifically toward little kids, (like Dorra) I can't help, but want to tune in and give it a chance. The animation, surprisingly looks good for Tv. And from the little audio clip, it seems to reunite the original Vas. (or good sound alikes)

Yes, I am weired. ;) I'll even admit, that I've seen all the sequels (expect the newest) and while there not as great as the original, when viewed with an open mind, their actually nice little movies.

But yeah, the franchise needs to end. Because even though I like all the movies, I do feel it needs to stop. =|

Man, I still remember when the original Land Before Time my whole family enjoyed the movie. Then after Land Before Time 4 everyone in my family got tired of the direct to video movies. Today the series keeps going its like Pokemon it keeps going. Another Pokemon movie is coming out April 3 but Miramax isn't supporting it like the last Pokemon movie.

My Aunt is always boasting how she has the newest sequel of it, she just bought the new one today and was boasting all I had to say was "So?" In my opinion, the first, two or three were okay, but now it's just sad. Starting to make Disney look good for cashing in on sequels

ARRRRGH!!! The milking just doesn't stop! I am sick of The Land Before Time. I used to like the original when I was a kid though.

My daughter loves them all.

A few of the sequels haven't been too bad. Its mostly the music that I hate. The animation is pretty good, but not as good as the original. But each movie deals in some sort of lesson and a few of them have been updated. Like getting a new step-parent and even racisim is showcased on the movies. My daughter will watch the series. I might sit down for a few of them. But I won't be running to the TV to watch. They dumbed down LBT compared to the movie a lot. The original movie was a beautiful drama. And then they turn into musical comedies. I once asked Don Bluth what he thought of it and he explained first he had no control over the franchise, and that they make lots of money off it, and then he kinda ended it there. You could tell he was not happy with what they were doing to his story.

ooh Ooh I want to see that one!! :P :P

I actually Thought that The Big Freeze was the last one... Apparently it wasn't... I like the Pokemon Movies and I still like Land Before time but The Power Rangers need to end...... That and The Land Before Time movies... The latest movie I did buy because it was an impulsive decision but I still have yet to watch it.. I have been busy with watching Filmation's Animated Ghostbusters then I will move on to The Land Before Time 12: The Great Day of the Flyers Or something to that effect...

So there's 12 of them? Okay... Anyway, I guess a series won't be too bad. Kinda like a 30 minute sequel to the orginal movie, I guess.
