Minnie's Yoo Hoo

Post by appelquistdk »

"Minnie's Yoo Hoo" appears on Walt Disney Treasures Mickey Mouse in Black and White Vol. 1 disk 1. Referring to the site http://www.disneyshorts.org/years/1930/ ... oohoo.html it doesn't!
For the rest, I am of the opinion that we must have one more of the Walt Disney Treasures. We cannot do it without "Bearly Asleep", Hook, Lion and Sinker and the other Jack Hannah-funnies. That's a demand.
Best regards

Well, if we do indeed get WDT sets of the remaining DD shorts those two should be included.

But it is also included on MM in Black & White vol. 1 disc 1. "Minnie's Yoo Hoo" does not appear on the table of contents, but if you play all the vob-files, you will see it.

Oh, I thought Yoo Hoo was a euphemism, it took me a second to realise what you meant.

Disney Shorts is an admirable site in many many respects; I think you've just picked up a slight omission here. Best to email the website owner and let him know.

Or, if you don't want to go that far, you can find it as an Easter Egg. Go to the Bonus Material menu on Disc 1 and highlight Mickey's cowboy hat.

Dirty imagination! I'm sure there is no such thing as Minnie's "Yoo Hoo".

The cartoon "Minnie Yoo-Hoo" with just Mickey on stage was featured on the PD VHS tape by New Age Video with "The Mad Doctor" along with the Famous Studios/Screen Songs short "Farm Foolery" and "Small Fry", a cartoon by Max and Dave Fleischer. It has a fake Noveltoon title used in the 1940's. The cartoon is also included on Toon Tracker under "RealMedia Video Showcase".

The song "Minnie Yoo-Hoo" was also remade in the early 1970's as featured during the closing credits of "The Mouse Factory". The version from the 1972 show was featured on "Classic Disney - Vol. 1".
