Can someone help me with my atlantis DVD!?

Post by Matty-Mouse »

Hello, I hope someone who knows about DVD's and stuff can help me.

I bought the region 2 Atlantis 2-disc from play.com the other day (bargin at £14.99) and I cant play disc one on my living room DVD player. But the strange thing is it plays fine on my bedroom DVD player.

Everytime I put the DVD in it says please check DVD. The DVD player we have in our living room is a Toshiba and the one in my bedroom is a cheap multi region one (Matsui) if thats any help.

Does anybody know the problem? Thanks in advance.

It could be either that there is a minor flaw in the disc that is only being picked up by the Toshiba or it could be the Toshiba player. What model is it? I have a Toshiba SD-2109 and there are some discs that it has trouble playing. I was told at one point that it needed a firmware upgrade, but for the price of that you can just buy another DVD player. At any rate, you may want to call customer service and tell them that there might be a compatibility problem, they'll probably replace your disc.
