Anna Nicole Smith dead at age 39
CNN had this on their website. I don't know much about Anna Nicole Smith, but isn't that weird. Maybe the death of her son some months ago was too much for her.

The only reason this is kind of shocking is that she was one of those incredibly irritating celebrities that you expect will be around forever (just to annoy the hell out of you), despite the constant excesses and unhealthy aspects of their lifestyle. Such people frequently appear immune to the problems that plague us regular folks, so it's usually a shocker when one drops dead (literally, in this case).

That is so true, I can't believe this. One might think that it was her very last desperate try to gain some more publicity. And she did. That is so weird, when I saw it on TV I thought they were kiding. She was way too much of the typical dumb, blonde for-no-reason-celebrity to just die like that. Whenever I saw that old lady in Pink's "Stupid Girls" video clip I used to think "That's Anna Nicole Smithe at the age of 89". And suddenly she dies. What can I say? May she rest in peace and I hope that she'll meet her son where she goes. And, even if she would have been a bad role-model for her daughter,I really fell sorry for the little girl, it's cruel to grow up without a mother.Jasmine1022 wrote:This was definitely a shocker for me. Considering all the stuff she's been going through lately it almost seems planned...
Weird.
I heard on the radio today in biology class...I was shocked...because her son just died and then all those questions about who is the father of her child and stuff....I think that Lawyer guy had something planned all along. What I think is that someone wants to cash in big time on that money if it goes to her estate and *The Lawyer* guy really wants custody of her daughter? But they say Anna doesnt want that...Strange....I feel bad for her since she is going to grow up with out her mom and her brother...
Anyways Im kind of sad, I thought she was funny but a little crazy at times. And she was a hottie when she modeled for Playboy back in 93'.

I too was shocked! She always seemed to known for doing unpredicatable stuff that people would talk about on these shows but I guess they won't have her to talk about now.

Of course she had a very unhealthy lifestyle, but one can't help but think it seems a little suspicious, her son dying so young, and her soon after, in sorta similar ways (from the little details I've heard). Plus, there's the big fight over the old man's money. It all warrants investigation.
I suppose you could say that things come back around and bite you in the ass. I mean, there's no doubt she was a golddigger, and yet she didn't get to live a long life like the old man she married, spending all his money. It's almost like a Tales From the Darkside episode with its poetic justice. Nevertheless, a life wasted like that is always tragic, as are children having to grow up without parents.

As much as i'm shocked it actually makes sense to me somehow. I mean she always dealt with weight issues and drugs and alcohol. On top of that her son dying because of a similar fate. As crazy and weird she was, i think we all loved her for it. Come on, all the jokes were great. Also who can forget her getting stuck underneath a table because of her weight and then all she yelled was "I want a pickle". I hope wherever she is she finds happiness.

Color me surprised, too.

you know what's odd? Many celebraties always have some eerie or odd coiencidence to their death's.
So #1 lesson: DON'T become a celebrity.

I was very surprised to hear this. She was an odd-goat that's for sure. What makes this even more sad is that her entire life was just a huge mess. She wasn't my favorite person, but all the same, this is very sad news.
RIP

This doesn't just happen to celebrities, it happens to many people. We just hear about it happening to celebrities more because their entire lives are talked about in the news, while a regular person's life is not.Super Aurora wrote:you know what's odd? It wasn't really a shock for me. I was never really that into her, and I guess that since all that weird stuff happened to her last year, it's not too much of a stretch that this would happen to her. I feel sorry for her mum most of all. The baby won't have nearly as hard a time as Anna mum will. I mean the mum will have lost a daughter and a grandson all in the space of a few months, and will have to dealing with who the real father is, the court battles, having to raise to baby right, and have to deal with the intrusive media, especially Entertainment Tonight (it was the Anna Nicole update show a few months back). I definitely feel sorry for the mum most of all.
And what did she die of? I heard from my teacher that she ODed on something, but I don't know if that's the truth or not.

OMG!! I was in school today when I heard about it, I could not believe this! Anna may not have been the brightest crayon in the box or anything, but I became a fan of hers when I watched her reality show on E!. I've always felt sympathy for her for some reason. I enjoyed Anna Nicole Smith and it's very tragic that her son, Daniel, died; now she has died as well. That poor baby girl, which who even knows who the father is, is going to have a veeeeery interesting and difficult life. My heart goes and to her.

poor anna...i think she always wanted to be marilyn monroe...but many people disliked her and went after her money...her life has always been under scrutiny...she was soooooooo beautiful, yet only lived to be 39....so sad, esp. for her new baby girl...hopefully she will go the right parent and they will go through with the dna testing...hopefully she can rest in peace and the media will get off her ass and family...and i hope the media doesnt bash her too much....that will really upset me, cause lots of celebs have problems but they dont talk too much about them until after ur dead

Well, Anna Nicole always wanted to live up to Marilyn Monroe...and she probably did. This is something that will have conspiracy theorists running amok.
I was shocked and feel bad. As I said when her son died, she isn't my favorite person, but she didn't deserve to die so young. I highly doubt suicide. She loved her new baby from what it seemed. I personally am suspicious.
