It has a UK release of 29th September 2007. At last, Duke Nukem lives!

Don't get your hopes up for a release it has been offered for preorder from other sites before.
After all these delays at least the game is living up to its name. It started on the Quake 1 engine, then moved on each time with a new delay... I really doubt it will ever be released. However if it is ever released I fear that it would look horribly dated, but then again they could be using a new engine.
Duke Nukem 3D was a great game. I remember playing it at several LAN parties in the 90s (The Stadium was a blast), however Quake 1 was always the main game we played.
I miss the old days of PC Gaming.
