People "want to sell it" at that price, that doesn't mean they are getting it...

I think there are some people (maybe small stores) that decide to mark up anything that is Out of Print... If it doesn't sell at that price, mark it up higher!

I still see it at Suncoast all the time. They're a little pricey though, which is why I haven't picked it up.... I'm hoping for a newer/better edition as well!

With the theatrical release of NBC 3D this year, I'm sure we can expect a new edition soon. Perhaps closer to fall, though...seeing as how it's a halloween/christmas movie.

Discontinued to make way for the 13th Anniversary DVD of course.

Not to forget, when making it 3D, they made it crisp & re-digitised.

Perfect for the Blu-Ray release just in time for Christmas 2007.

Hooray for Nightmare Woo

I got a copy a few months back at my local Best Buy for about $20 CDN. I'm pretty certain they still have a few copies there, haven't checked though, when I bought it (I'll guess that it was either in July or August) and they had a good number of copies there. So, I don't know what's going on. I do have a feeling though that a new special edition is probably in the works if you're having such a tough time finding it now.
