Collector's Edition Case

Post by Disney TX »

I was wondering if someone can explain if it is an standard that all (or at least most of them) the Collector's Set are shipped in a black case - instead of a white case, as in the LE's or SE's.

I understand that thw white case is part of the signature of Disney's DVDs and that will help to validate its authenticity...

Does anyone have an idea of Disney's standards?

the white case rule is in effect for limited issues and gold collection dvd's. not so with the 2 disc cases. all of my 2 disc sets, that is the cases that hold 2 discs, have been black, and have all been purchased in stores or from reputable online stores.

I think that answer my question.

Does anyone else have a different experience?

Welcome to the forum, DisneyTX. Only 2-disc SEs I can think of that come in white cases are the Vault Disney / "Special Edition" releases.
