Who is your Favorite Disney Charecter and why?

Post by Papa Bear »

My favorite Disney charecter is Baloo from "The Jungle Book", "Jungle Book 2" and of course "TaleSpin". Baloo is my favorite because he has such a great laid back personality. He is worry free and enjoys life in all situations. He may always be looking to have a good time, but you know you can always count on him when it comes down to anything important. And I feel that my personality relates closer to his than any other disney charecter that is why I like Baloo.

(Yes I know he is just a charachter but thought it might be an iteresting question for all of us to think about and share with each other.) :)

Pete! (A surprise to no-one I would imagine)

One of the reasons is Pete is actually Disney's oldest character, having appeared in the pre-Disney "Alice" comedies created by a young Walt Disney.

There's something about Pete - to me he will always be the ultimate nemesis for Disney's ultimate character and somehow in a Mickey vs. Pete short I always root for Pete to win! Let's face it, before Disney teamed up Mickey with Donald and Goofy regularly, it was Pete who added the character to the Mickey Mouse cartoons.

Also Pete's apperance as the "Ghost of Christmas Yet To Be" was the best animated sequence Disney have ever done in my own humble opinion (from the Weasels digging the grave to Scrooge waking up, this is my favorite Disney moment - Disney, Christmas, Pete, Scrooge McDuck, Graveyard, Fire, what's not to like?).

Pete is Disney's ultimate villain, an iconic character and to me symbolises Disney as much as Mickey Mouse.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Probably Buzz, though I guess it's a Pixar character really.

I love his know-it-all, deluded attitude. :)

Well, I guess Prince Phillip would be the obvious choice but to tell the truth, I'm not sure. He is definatley my favorite from the fairy tales, cause let's face it, the other princes can't hold a light to Phillip. He escapes from Maleficent's dungeon, with a little help I admit, he fight's Maleficent as the dragon... "and all the forces of HELL!" (Which by the way is the coolest disney line. Let's face it, the whole movie was one of the best, and yet it took major financial problems for them to add it to the Platinum line up  ? Oh well

I'd probably have to say Donald is one of my all time favorites, cause I can relate to him on so many levels. The poor guy never wins. I like him even more than Mickey and I really like Mickey.

Maleficent is definatley my favorite villain, gotta love the villians.

I know... I know... that's more than one, but I just like so many, and the list goes on and on.

Being that my favorite classic is The Fox And The Hound I'd have to say Copper or Todd.

There are so many favourite characters, it's hard to choose one. I've always loved Fantasia Mickey, as it was the first Disney film my girlfriend (now wife) and I saw on the big screen together. Of course, everyone and his dog loves the Mickster.

I love Eeyore, and his outlook on life. And he's just so damned cute. Some folks have said that I have the same outlook, so there's another reason why I've gravitated towards him.

I'm a big Disney fan, and have lots of favourite characters. #1 is obviously Mickey Mouse, but I also really like the Beast. That's why my name's Prince Adam-The D Show CD-ROM has that as the name for the human Beast.

Hmmm...I've never really given this much thought as there are so many great Disney Characters.

I'll give you three answers.

Animated: Mickey Mouse - It all starts with him
Live-Action: Davy Crockett - I could watch the Crockett Tin all day
Pixar: Flick - What's not to like about Flick?

Beyond the obvious Mickey, probably Stitch.

Oswald...

To bad I haven't seen any of the episodes... But still, he's my favorite! ;)

why: Because off all that happened with the series. Walt had it. Went to Mintz to get an increase in budget, but Mintz told him that he was to get a 20% decrease in budget. So Disney just gave it up. And Universal took over it. And the only good thing out of that, was that Mickey Roony was the voice of Oswald, when the series restarted...

Pure gold. I love it!

At the moment I'd say Stitch (look to the left), but there are a few.

Winnie the Pooh would be an obvious choice. Although not really a 'Disney' creation - nor are any of the other storybook characters I guess - but it is the Disney Pooh that I love, especially the Sterling Holloway/Jim Cummings voice.

It changes. ne of my fave films is The Little Mermaid, so I guess [/b]Ariel ranks too. Too many. I'll stick with the first two.

Bugger, now I look like a total tool for the rest of eternity.

Mind you, that was going to happen one way or another anyways...

As for MSN, the new MSN 6 Preview allows you to add any images you have as emoticons. It will automatically rezie them for you, so some don't look all that good.
Looks much better on the forum...
