Wow. I just learned something about Saved by the Bell
It was set in Indianapolis, IN!
I was born and raised in Indiana, and aside from one year in Illinois I've been in this state my entire life (35 next Feb). I watched SBTB when it was on on those Saturday Mornings back in 1989 I believe.
Anyway...I guess I never really knew where it was supposedly set, but I just assumed it was a West Coast town.

Saved By the Bell was set in California. Its prequel series ("Good Morning, Miss Bliss") took place in Indianapolis.

What didn't you understand about that? That was just six episodes and it was during the gang's summer vacation, so they all got jobs at Lisa's family's beach resort, Malibu Sands. (Well, except Lisa... her work? Cha!) Now if Belding had been there, that would have been a bit far-fetched. But you got Ernie Sabella (a.k.a. Pumbaa) as a slightly different kind of authority figure.satas wrote:I still never understood the entire season they were working at the beach.
Good times...

You know, I think those Malibu Sands episodes were pretty good. The people playing Leon Corosi and his daughter (can't remember her character's name right now - Melanie? no. Stefanie? no. Stacy? if you know - just give me the first 2 letters of her name, I'll have it in a jiffy!) were some of the best supporting characters on that show.
