Trying to make sense of Hannah Montana...
Okay, so the actress playing Hannah Montana is Billy Ray Cyrus' kid. and Billy Ray is on the show as her manager. The whole point of the show (I've heard/am partly assuming) is that she is trying to play it off like she is NOT Hannah Montana (even though she is, obviously). So now they're sending the actress out on tour under the stage name Hannah Montana...
Is this making anyone else's head hurt?
Can someone clarify this for me at all?

Miley Cyrus plays Miley Stewart, a normal teenage girl in Malibu who goes to a normal (junior?) high school by day and performs/appears at social Hollywood functions as Hannah Montana. I think that since she only performs as Hannah Montana on the show, Disney is letting/making her do concerts as Hannah Montana and not her real name. I guess it's like her stage persona until the show is done and she can perform as herself.
It confused me too, though.

I think it's a bit awkward if a 20-year-old finds a 13 going on 14-year-old Disney Channel star attractive. Maybe it's just meSpottedfeather wrote:She'll be 14 in November. I guess it depends in what you mean by "like" her.... sexually attracted? When I was a 15 year old I had a crush on a guy who was a friend of the family's- he was like 30, so I can relate to this issue (sort of).DaveWadding wrote:Yeah...but I'm like 20...that's the thing haha.Spottedfeather wrote:She'll be 14 in November. I met her earlier this summer at the red carpet event, she appeared to be around 14. She's adorable and was very easy to interview in person.

I'm 26 and I am quite smitten with Miley. Take that for whatever you want it to mean. I would even go so far as to say that I have a huge crush on her. Another thing that you might find odd....I've had a subscription to Disney Adventures magazine since I was 10 years old. Just got the new issue on Monday. Made some scans.

Think about this. Once bread becomes toast, you can't make it back into bread.

I don't think there is any harm in these types of fantasies/crushes.Spottedfeather wrote:I'm 26 and I am quite smitten with Miley. Take that for whatever you want it to mean. I would even go so far as to say that I have a huge crush on her.
About 2 yrs ago my sister lent me the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 1 because I'd never seen the show (I know, what rock was I under!) and I got a crush on the actor who plays Angel, David Boreanaz. I was lookin' him up on the internet to see what new shows he was doing. Well come to find out this was a very old TV series - I basically a 40-yr old woman having a crush on a guy who was then in his 20s (don't quote me) but now was probably closer to my age... it was all very strange! I had to stop watching the series due to time constraints, so I only made it through Season 1. After seeing a recent picture of him (where he looks alot closer to my age), I didn't have such a big crush on him anymore. Maybe at the time I was just a sucker for the romance of his character and those vampire kisses!
