Have you heard of LOOSE CHANGE??
Woah?!?!?!?!? I just saw the craziest, and scariest thing in my life. It's a 1 Hour 21 min. (kind of documentary) called Loose Change on the internet about 9/11. The video had so much evidence that 9/11 is a cover-up, and a conspiracy. You have to see it. It's kind of crazy if you ask me.

Bold added for emphasis. If there was that much evidence that could hold up, then it wouldn't be limited to the Internet. It's crap and people trying to profit off of a terrible tragedy like this make me sad.MICKEYMOUSE wrote:Woah?!?!?!?!? I just saw the craziest, and scariest thing in my life. It's a 1 Hour 21 min. A Google search reveals plenty of results which pick apart the bogus claims of this documentary in detail.
9/11 was not a cover-up and you know it!
I agree with Luke. It's awful that people are making up lies about a terrible tragedy just to earn a buck. It makes me sick.

For anything that the government has ever said, there is a conspiracy theory out there that counters it (usually more than one). Just about anything can be made to look convincing when strung together with flashy editing at a break-neck pace, especially when there's no counter-evidence present. Someone could make an online video that "proves" exactly the opposite point as well. A major TV network could even make a primetime special insisting that man never walked on the moon or something crazy like that.

Believe it or not, there's actually a group of people that believe the moon walk was a complete conspiracy with lots of so-called "evidence" to back it up.AwallaceUNC wrote: A major TV network could even make a primetime special insisting that man never walked on the moon or something crazy like that.

To some degree. There are, of course, slander and libel laws which could be pursued if knowingly false comments are classified as defamatory.MICKEYMOUSE wrote:Whatever it is wheater true or false, you can say it.

That is not true at all, If you are in a crowded movie theater and yell Fire, they are going to arrest you, you have to be careful what you say to the opposite sex or you could be charged on sexual harrasment charges, you can say " High Jack " on an Airplane. You can be held in contempt of court for saying the wrong things while in court, even in school you cant just talk whenever you want to. So we may have Freedom of Speach, but it is not as big as you think it isMICKEYMOUSE wrote:But at the same time what you got to love is the this country you have FREEDOM OF SPEACH. That is what make this country what it is. Whatever it is wheater true or false, you can say it.

If you really want to read the rest of the article I have quoted, everyone knows who Maddox is. Otherwise, that quote is the only important part.Maddox wrote:Since Dylan [Avery]'s (creator of Loose Change) arguing that the government has no problem killing 3,000 innocent people, this raises the question: if his documentary is true, and we've established that the government has no ethical qualms about killing thousands of its own people, then why wouldn't the government kill Avery and his friends as well? What's a few more lives to them to ensure the success of this conspiracy?

I'd say it's equally as legitimate as a discussion about the appealing factors of bacon, if not more.ccsubruce wrote:This thread doesn't belong on a message board such as this. Lock it and delete it and forget it ever existed.
