I am right here....

It is summer time a lot of people go on vacations or get summer jobs or have a regular job. Most people don't just stay at home all summer and play on the computer, even though it would be nice, it gets boring

Sad as it may sound, I guess it's good that people have other things to do in the summer...

I'm glad someone had the courage to ask this. I thought I was the only one that felt the board was less active. So I just ignored it, and just thought I was being paranoid again.

Glad to hear everyone's doing something during the summertime!

I'm always around, but sometimes I don't have anything insightful or amusing to say.

I'm here when I can be, but I get a full-time job when I'm off school for the summer, and it doesn't always have regular hours (other than the occassional 7am-3pm).

However, I don't think the board is dying... it's far too populous.

Perhaps everything that should be said has been said by now...?

No, I doubt that...

I don't have a PC at home right now, as I've just moved in to a new flat. So I can only access a PC from work until further notice. It has really cut back on my UDing and netting generally.

On the plus side, I have a brand new TV I'm enjoying at the moment.

I still pop in when I can.

I recently started a job, and we have been working overtime a lot. So my online time during the week is pretty small. I'm still around some on the weekends though.

Probably since it's summer. Alot of people are spending less time on the computer. I've noticed on other message boards I go to the activity has been lower as well. It'll pick up again in September.

I've been affected by this problem myself...

Sometimes I don't log in because I'm out. Other times I'm around, but I won't even post anything as I won't really have much to say. I don't like posting just for the sake of posting. The thing is I usually keep the thread I would have viewed in mind, even if I had not replied, as I would still be interested.

Come to think of it...when you create a new topic, you receive a number of replies, but just think of how many more people would have just read the thread and did not reply. Of course, some may have been uninterested, but just because they didn't reply doesn't mean they're all not interested in the thread. I usually return to threads I would have not replied to, and I may not reply again, as I may not have anything to say... but I read them anyway...

Wow! What two ultra boring paragraphs I just spouted out...

I think a lot of people are using that "don't show your status" or whatever it is called (they are hidden). So it looks like not many are here but they are some.

*gasp* Are you hinting at that people actually have lives outside of the boards? Oh, the blasphemy! Blasphemy, I say!

:P Um, I'm new. But I'm here?
