Make up some new Disney Toy Lines!

Post by Wonderlicious »

After the success of Disney Princesses and Fairies, Disney are planning to create more Disney merchandise lines. Now we're all going to invent our own Disney Merchandise lines to give the Disney Executives who read these forums ideas. Place the characters who will feature in these lines under their respective line.

Disney Sea Mammals
Monstro, the Walrus, the Dolphins (the ones that make a brief cameo in The Little Mermaid)

Disney Rodents
Ratigan, the Dormouse, Gopher, Bernard, Bianca, the Rat (from Lady and the Tramp)

Disney Possessed Objects
Pinocchio, Mrs Pots, Lumiere, Cogsworth, the Magic Mirror, the Talking Doorknob

Disney Random Inanimate Objects
Bed (from Cinderella), Chair (from Peter Pan), Table (from Alice in Wonderland), Book (from Beauty and the Beast)

I'm thinking the Disney Pets one is a very good idea actually. It's almost as if you could get a pet to fit any personality you please. here are some more you didn't list that would be great additions...

Raja, Abu- aladdin
Morph- Treasure Planet
Percy, Meeko, and Flik- Pocahontas

I think they should build up the Disney Villians fanchise a lot more. I think Disney underestimates the success that this could bring!

Disney Hero Line:
Buzz and Woody, Peter Pan, Prince Charming(from Snow White) he wasn't one in the sense of Prince Phillip but he still saved the day by kissing Snow White, Prince Phillip(Sleeping Beauty), Flik(A Bug's Life), and Merlin + Arthur(Sword in the Stone).

Disney Desperate Housewives (Princess Edition!) starring Ariel as Bree, Snow White as Susan, Jasmine as Gabriel, Cinderella as Lynette, and Aurora as Edie (guest-starring Cruella as Felicia Tillman)

Disney Single-Parent series featuring: King Triton, King Hubert, The Sultan, Maurice, Chief Pohattan, and the Evil Queen.

But on a more reality-driven note, Disney really needs to do more with their Disney Villains Line (they do some, but not near enough). I would love it if they did with the villains as they do with the princesses. But that's just wishful thinking.

Mini Die-Casted Main Characters of Disney Classic Films: Will come in packages of 3 for $1.99. Every package will come with an offer for a $19.99 Cinderella Castle. The castle is openable and inside there will be a spot (a stand that will fit into the whole in the bottom of the die-cast character) for each character to fit into. So all the Disney characters "live" in your very own Cinderella Castle in your own room!

I really like this idea too! i would buy all of them! lol

Another Die-Cast idea would be to make miniature casts of Disney buildings and such;

Snow White's castle, The 7 Dwarfs hut, Casey Jr., Captain Hook's pirate ship, Cinderella's castle, Ariel's castle, Sleeping Beauty's castle, The Beast's castle, Notre Dame, Tarzan'z treehouse, The submarine in Atlantis, The space ship in Treasure Planet, the list could go on and on.

or at least do this with the theme park attractions!!!

These would probably be more on the expensive side, but i'm really big into miniature buildings so this would be right up my ally.

The Disney Pets Line: ( which may include pet supplies that feature Disney Animals) but certainly Beanies, Shirts, and Mini Fiqurines.

The Sidekicks Series: Featuring Timon, Pumbaa, Meeko, Flit, etc.

Disney Horses: A Breyer Model horse line featuring the Royal steeds.

Animal Love: Often overshadowed by their human counterparts. animal relationships have a special place in the hearts of disney lovers, specifically Lady and the Tramp, Duchess and Thomas. and Perdita and Pongo

I concur that this is a great idea. The possibilities for what might be included in this line are endless. There are a lot of people who would run out and buy these. You could even get more specific--you could have a dog collection, cat collect, etc. There are so many pets in the films.

Note: You forgot to mention Pluto!

The Different-Fans-of-Disney Series (Complete with Product Discriptions)

Toy #1: The Slipcover Fanatic
"One of Disney's most popular fans, the slipcover fanatic won't buy a DVD unless it's covered with that familiar cardboard sleeve we all know & love. Currently referred to by its prototype name, A.L.A.N. (Anti Logical Attachment Needer), this doll is made with real wood, just like those lovable slipcovers."
Retail Price: $2.99

Toy #2: The Completist
"Your collection isn't complete without this fan. No matter what the product, this toy will buy anything bearing the Disney name, regardless of quality."
Retail Price: It doesn't matter! Fans of this toy will pay anything to complete their collection!

Toy #3: The Bootlegger
"This is the kind of fan that is so "dedicated" to Disney, he will sell bootleg DVDs to consumers. This toy comes with a free video camera, which you can bring to the theater with you to tape the movie, so you can have it on the internet the next day."
Retail Price: $2.99, but bootleg toy dealers will sell it to you for only a buck.

Collect them all!
