Studio Ghibli Survivor Round 14
Welcome to the Studio Ghibli Survivor, where the Studio Ghibli films will compete to be known as the best Ghibli Film, here on Ultimate Disney.
The Ghibli movies competing include all the full length features, and 3 pre Ghibli films, that shaped Ghibli or their directors. The total is 17 films.
Everyone is welcome to play the game. You don't need to have played in previous rounds. However, to play you must have 25 user posts.
The game will be similar to all the other survivor games held on this site. Simply, every round you vote for the movie that you find the weakest, or that you find most unworthy. The movie with the most votes will be eliminated in that round.
In case of a tie, a tiebraker will occur, where you will vote for the film that you want to be eliminated.
Since the low amount of Ghibli films, only 1 film will be eliminated per round.
You MUST post your vote in bold, or else the vote will be null and void. I will not count votes in any circumstances that arn't bold.
Each round will last aproximately 2 days. However, if I am not able to reach a computer at the end of the round, the round will continue until I close it. Tiebrakers will last aproximately 1 day.
Round Five will end at 5:00 PM EST on May 20th.
Competing Films:
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Kiki's Delivery Service
Princess Mononoke
Eliminated Films:
Round One: My Neighbors the Yamadas
Round Two: Hols: Prince of The Sun

Not as childish as staging an attack on an Academy Award winner for your personal favorite's gain. If I was mean, I'd throw in a vote with Raydawggie and Co. to bring down the ax. I'm out of this game!castleinthesky wrote:Its because its my favorite Ghibli movie. Hey, don't look at me! I don't actually have an alliance this time! I'm playing strategically to help my favorite movie on this list(yes, I've actually seen some) win!Prince Eric wrote:Not as childish as staging an attack on an Academy Award winner for your personal favorite's gain. To Prince Eric: I did not vote Spirited Away out because I wanted to get rid of "competition". Spirited Away has never been one of my favorite Ghibli films.
To timon pumbaa: You hardly like any Ghibli film. And at first last round, you voted for Spirited Away, so don't blame me.

I wasn't blamming you, I was trying to point out don't get upset as YOU were the one who wanted to play. And at first last round, you voted for Spirited Away, so don't blame me.

Well I guess I'll go with Toadie's favorite.
