It was so fun. I got to see one of my favorite bands, Fall Out Boy.
I am SOOO tired though, I will probably be sleeping all day.
I just got back from Grad Nite!

I had a blast when I went almost exactly a year ago. Unlike most other teens there, though, I didn't care much for who was playing (Ciera, Ryan Cabrera, and Yellowcard), so I took full advantage of the lack of lines for each attraction. It was the largest number of attractions I'd been on in a single day at Disney (14 to be exact).

Awesome! I wish we went to Magic Kingdom for Grad Nite. For the past few years, my highschool usually was at Islands of Adventure for a Grad Nite - Concert thing, too. Though my senior trip we went to Disney, and everything, but we had a party at the hotel one night (it rained too) and the last night we went to Medieval Times and stayed after dinner for a dance. No concert. Though it's a little sad, I'm not complaing too much because I was sooo tired by that night that I didn't want to do anything. Blahh...
I hope you had a lot of fun, because being at Disney (or anywhere) with your graduating class is awesome, even if you can't stand some/most/nearly all of the people. Ironically, last night, okay really yesterday they had a concert at RU for Rutgersfest. I got to see OK Go, a pretty cool rock band. I even got to meet the drummer and the lead singer with my two friends. We were leaving to go back (we didn't want to stay for the rest of the show - Common and Genuine...yeah I know, who the heck are they?) to the dorm and we saw them by a fench backstage and we got to meet them! It was awesome! ok rambling now so bye!

Was Rock*It Mountain up and running for Grad Nite? Or has that been delayed?

I really enjoyed Grad Nite when I was a senior back in '99. I didn't care about the music either, I had fun going on the attractions. When I went I had to take the SAT the following morning because I needed 40 more points on the test. If I recall correctly, I got well over the 40 additional points. I wonder if anyone else had ever been dumb enough to take the SAT the morning after attending Grad Nite...and no, I didn't get any chance to sleep in between.

Last year, during the weeks that we had Grad Nite weekends, I was scheduled for only ONE of them, and even that one technically didn't count. What they do is close the park at 7 pm, then re-open it around 9 for the grads, but technically it doesn't start until 11 or so. My one gradnite shift was from 3:45 to 10:45, so I had to close (but not clean) the Adventureland Nut Wagon at 6:30, which pissed off many a guest, then help out backstage. Since I was one of the few to have the odd -10:45 shift, they didn't know what to do with me, since the grad-nite shift people would come in around 8:30 or so. So I ended up doing a lot of odd-jobs around the park (ODF-related of course), before I finally said, "You know, making the roasted almonds takes some time, why not send me back to the wagon and make a few batches so the castmember doesn't have to?". The managers let me (since I'm the nut b*tch and they like how I make them), so I made 6 batches straight for about an hour and a half before the castmember came. I asked my managers if I could stay for grad nite and help out, and they said no, I deserved a break.
The next day, when I went to open the nut wagon, they told me that I'd have 5 batches ready made. Turned out hardly anyone stopped by the nut wagon, so only the first batch was actually sold, and I had my work cut out for me that morning. Best day of work ever.
