Luke - Appreciation Thread

Post by BATBfan1 »

Don't know if this has been done before BUT:

Here is where you can thank Luke for his hard dedication and putting his all into this WONDERFUL site! :)

My thanks:
If it wasn't for Luke and this site, I wouldn't have known of all the great Disney movies in the past that have been out. I missed on a lot of Disney DVD's and coming to this site helped me to complete my collection with all the Disney animated movies plus some live action that interest me.

Also, thanks for the in depth DVD Reviews! They TOTALLY rock and you make it more enjoyable to own a Disney DVD.
Thanks so much Luke! :)

I second that emotion!

It isn't said often enough, but I certainly appreciate all the hard work that Luke, Aaron and all the other regulars put in around here. It is a labour of love, and I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be to toil away on a website you aren't sure anybody is reading. :)

More to the point, they put up with repeated etiquette violations from moi.

Bless your cotton socks.

All hail Luke! Creator of great reviews and fantastic updates from all of Disneydom. All hail!

Anyway, thanks Luke, if it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't have/have not bought DVDs if I didn't read your reviews. Great job and keep up!

Thanks to Luke, Aaron, Loomis, Netty and many others who keep this site thriving and give me something to do all day instead of doing nothing. :P :)

This seriously is one of the better sites I enjoy visiting. Really, I like how this forum is carefully watched and regulated with rules where many others lack. Also, if it wasn't for this site, I would not have half of my dvd collection nor a reward zone membership.

thanks for such a wonderful site!

Edit: I don't know what I did/said wrong, I'm guessing it was the colors but just in case, I took out some of the words that might have been offensive and immature. Sorry if I caused any trouble, really though I thought everyone would like the colors I put into one post of a thread that was meant to be happy and celebrative.

Yeah, if it weren't for Luke I wouldn't have found this site (because it wouldn't be here).

But, it is a really good site site and community and I'm sure this is just part of a plot to take over the World and Chuck Norris is just a cover.

Thanks Luke

and this is a good idea for a thread.

I would like to thank Luke too for all the hard work that he does on this site! Usually you'll on websites where the owner waits a few weeks or so to update with new news or anything. I like to thank him for staying on top of things. Also keeping this board clean with no vulgar language of that sort. :)

While being releatively new to the forum, I've still been here long enough to be grateful for all Luke's great work. He's always there with just the right information you were looking for. He always knows how to end an arguement and he also has a freaking Chuck Norris avatar!!

Just so you know, Luke, this Lost Boy appreciates every byte that you put into this site.

:D :D :D
:pan: Love It.

Luke
I'd like to take this chance to once again tell you that your hard work is appreciated! The in-depth reviews are miles above the rest of the reviewer's critique, and the site is a joy to navigate and view. You have a great community on your hands, and for that I'd like to thank you and all the hard working moderators we have here! Here's to Luke, to the moderators of UD, and to the great site that is Ulitmate Disney! :ears: Two thumbs WAY UP!

Thanks for the kind words, y'all! It's touching to know that 1 in 13 people viewing this thread had something nice to say! :D

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again down the line, but it deserves to be said a lot. Thanks Luke! As always, it is a pleasure coming here and being involved with the great site.

"Stay on target. Stay on target"

"...Use the Force Luke..."

"What's he doing? He's turned off his spell check and thesaurus. He's not even using Dreamweaver."

That because Luke doesn't need tools and huge HUD displays to write reviews, give us news, moderate and arbitrate over the forum or to blow-up the Death Star.

He does it all with The Force. Long may he be our Jedi Knight. [The bit about blowing up the Death Star may not be true.]
