My Last Minute Trip to Disneyland!!!
My Last Minute Trip to Disneyland!!!
My wife and I just bought a house at the first of the month so we had planned to take some time off to get moved in and try to get unpacked and settled but we ended up closing on our house a little early and got all moved in so overnight we decided to go to Disneyland. We left on Saturday the First of April and went to Vegas for 2 nights, I think that is about the most you can spend their doing the free stuff anyhow. We did not do any shows or anything else that was not free, but had a fun two days. Then it was on to California where we spent 2 days at Californoa Adventures, 2 Days at Disneyland, 2 Days at Universal 1 day at Seaworld and A couple days at the Beach and In Hollywood, We went to the Jay Leno show on Friday the 14th of April And saw Jon Lovitz and the band Blue October. And on thursday the 13th we went the the taping of a new show currently known as the Patricia Heaton Project Which Stars, Patricia Heaton, Jenny McCarthy, Mo Collins, and Justine Bateman. This was really cool we got to go up and meet the cast afterwards and got a couple of signatures, so it was alot of fun. I was really Glad I got a chance to make to Disneyland during the aniversary. Everything was open except Pirates which is being redone to tie in to the movie. I finally got to see Fantasmic which was awesome. We also went and checked out the Disney Soda Fountain store in hollywood it was pretty cool While there we watched the Shaggy Dog at the El Capitain and it was really cool they had Cole the dog from most of the movie there and did a little Show before the movie then brought him around to everyone to pet him so that was pretty cool as well. Any how not alot of detail but it was alot of fun and evan though we planned it all last minute we spent 16 days on our trip and with gas and lodging from Idaho all in cluded we did it all for about $1500 not to bad.

Glad to hear you had a great time at Disneyland. It certainly has a great vibe during the anniversary, and I look forward to going again in a few years.
Still, if you don't want to spend much money, I suppose a couple of days is all you need in Vegas.
We spent three nights there, and still barely managed to squeeze in all the stuff we wanted to do. We flew over the Grand Canyon (which was admittedly expensive); saw all the free stuff along the Strip; visited the various casinos; drank yard long margaritas; Star Trek Experience at the Hilton and saw Cirque du Soleil's Mystere. All that without gambling.Papa Bear wrote:went to Vegas for 2 nights, I think that is about the most you can spend their doing the free stuff anyhow.
