Mind you, the 2 disc sets were largely fluffy weren't they?
The Spirited Away disc had very little on the second disc, and most of it was Disney content (Lasseter talking, English dub voice sessions - nothing really relevant to the 'making' of the original film), rather than Gihbli content. Although there was that Japanese doco...
The Aussie 2-disc set didn't have any of the 'Disney' content on SA, but that was because it was released through a independant distributor who either didn't have, or couldn't afford, the rights to the other supplements. They charge through the nose for those things, and it really isn't worth it for the smaller markets.
Even so, it is still a shame that other regions are missing out on supplemets we know are available...

The Japanese release don't have any of those - the second disc contains the whole film in multiangle storyboard-to-film comparison format (which is quite nice to have IMO), and the trailers. So do other Japanese Studio Ghibli DVDs, apparently.Loomis wrote:Mind you, the 2 disc sets were largely fluffy weren't they?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but 'Castle' has dubtitles instead of proper subtitles. I got both titles from my local import-dvd-shop and returned Castle the very next day: it is *really* annoying to watch it with the Japanese track and to notice that the audio and subtitles are completely out of synch.
