Instrumental Disney Songs?
Instrumental Disney Songs?
Does anyone know if any Disney songs with vocals have ever been released in instrumental versions? I'm just listening to "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and I'm thinking, this would sound amazing with no vocals. Of course it's perfect with vocals in it. Goodness knows I'm not going there, I was just wondering... It would be spectacular for research purposes. Disney has never seemed to think about this when putting their DVDs together, one of my favorite types of bonus features are those audio tracks with just music / the soundtrack and no vocals/dialogue. Maybe no one here's thought about this, but there simply has got to be some demand for this. At least on the newer songs / movies...

Hi. I was looking for something like what you say and finally bought the cd "Disney in Concert. An Instrumental Collection". Very good orchestral versions.

I have an old LP album called "101 Strings Meet Walt Disney" and it has nine cuts on it, they are:
Bibidi-bobidi-boo
Whistle While You Work
A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes
Zip-a-dee-Do-Dah
Everyone Has A Laughing Place
When You Wish upon A Star
The First Star to the Right
The Mickey Mouse Club March
Davey Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier

I, too, have been looking for the original songs sans vocals. Some Disney songs have such beautiful score accompaniment that I'd love to hear isolated. My only luck so far has been with A Whole New World, which I got off of LimeWire. I, unfortunately, can't post it on YouSendIt since my connection's pathetic for the time being.

I've done some investigating here.....
I was wondering the same thing a while back and did some investigating. There are two cd's that I highly recommend. The first is A Disney Spectacular from Erich Kunzel, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000 ... nce&n=5174
And the second and my favorite is Disney's Instrumental Impressions.

This cd is OOP, but I bought my copy on ebay for pretty cheap. It was worth it, it is the prettiest most relaxing cd I have. I often play it for my students during their quiet time, they love it

While that specific CD is out of print, Disney repackaged and retitled it "Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings."DisneyPrincess wrote:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000 ... nce&n=5174

People seem to be misunderstanding what Lazario and I have been searching for. We're not looking for retooled instrumental versions of Disney songs. We're looking for the original audio tracks but without vocals. These have to exist because all Disney DVD menus (after the Gold Classics, anyway) feature them (except Cinderella, which for some reason has synthesizer renditions of the songs).

This might be a little off topic but, oh well. Sometimes on the Disney channel, they run a little advert that says "Behind the scenes....Disney channel stars....are kids just like you. " During this ad, they play a really cool guitar tune without words. I have been unable to find out anything about this song. Does anyone know what this song is called or if it's available on cd somewhere ?
Think about this. Once bread becomes toast, you can't make it back into bread.

I also purchased it off eBay for around $14 and well worth it. A great CD, very relaxing and contemporary versions of Disney classics. Although I would like to find true to the movie instrumental versions of many songs and even extended score soundtracks such as The Lion King.DisneyPrincess wrote:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000 ... nce&n=5174
