There doesn't seem to be a dedicated Disney Cruise thread, so I just went ahead a started one.

<img src="http://images.google.com.au/images?q=tb ... Cruise.jpg" align=left>The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruise ships, both of which sail from Port Canaveral, are among the top 10 overall cruise ships chosen by cruise travelers who use the CruiseCritic.com Web site.

The top-ranked ship on the list, the Radisson Seven Seas Mariner, is based in Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles and calls at Port Canaveral.

Ranked second was the Disney Magic and, in a five-way tie for third place, was the Disney Wonder. The other third-place ships include Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas, MSC Opera, the Norwegian Jewel and the Tahitian Princess.

The survey by CruiseCritic allows cruisers to rate ships and see instant results, including comments from other cruisers. Other categories include best picks for cabins, dining, embarkation, entertainment, fitness, public rooms, service, value for money and excursions.

Kram - Disney Magic had a major retrofit in late 2004(I was on it in Feb 2005). Probably the reason it is a little higher rated. I think the Wonder is scheduled for late 2006 although that may be in jeopardy now that they are going west coast too and a little stretched.

I really enjoyed the Disney experience, and the food and entertainment. was excellent but still I didn't like the cruise. Among my complaints - next to no services for small children, ports of call stays were too short and just feeling too confined. In short, I think cruising just is not for me. However, if you think it is, I would recommend the Disney boats.
