Laughingplace.com had pictures of the walls going up around the entrance, but there wasn't any info about why it was being refurbished. I was thinking, with Disney's purchase of Pixar, Disney's Living Seas Finding Nemo makeover, plans for a Pixar Showcase pavillion in place of Wonders of Life, and Cars summer 2006 theatrical release, is Disney changing Test Track to have a Cars theme?

I believe the refurbishment has been listed on the offocial "Operational Updates" page for some times. It's January, after all, so it could just be routine. Test Track hasn't been open all that long--would GM allow a Pixar remake under the terms of their sponsorship?
Or, considering how things are going lately for GM, could they be bailing out from the attraction's sponsorhsip? (Is this how rumors get started? Tee-hee: gossip is fun.)
