Looking for a New/Like New copy of the Fantasia Anthology
I'm hoping to track down a new, or like new copy of the Fantasia Anthology. In Very Good-Excellent condition, with the box and all covers and cases in tact and looking as pristine as possible.
I'd like to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $60-70 (that'd include shipping). If you have a spare copy you're willing to part with, or know of a place where I might find a deal, please let me know!
Thanks!

Just wanted to give you some hope.. check out Gamestop.com. It's a small chance, but I kept checking and eventually one came up in my search of 20 miles w/in my zipcode. I went to the store and for $35 I got a PERFECT (we're talking I doubt it was EVER watched) set. It's in better condition than some of the DVDs I've bought new! It literally looks like someone got it as a gift, opened it and resold it.mikemgmve wrote:thanks! i've already been keeping an eye on those, as well as ebay. the ones in my price range are either missing a disc, or the box is a bit worn. sooner or later i imagine tho!
I just couldn't bring myself to buy one for $70 or more.
Goodluck in your search!

What a coincidence! There's one within 20 miles of me too. But if only I could drive, I hate limitations of getting around if it's not a walking distance.MinnieMe wrote:Just wanted to give you some hope.. check out Gamestop.com. Did you call the store to verify they still had it before coming down to look at it? Or did you just drive out and check?MinnieMe wrote:Just wanted to give you some hope.. check out Gamestop.com. The two gamestops near me never have anything, and what they do have typically looks completely beat up like the previous owners were, go figure, kids who didn't care much about the item in the first place (which is why they sold it for video games.)
Yeah, some places seem to have a horrible selection while others have a great selection w/ stuff in good shape (saw the Donald treasure in like new condition w/ tin for $14 a few days ago). I actually didn't call to make sure about the Anthology- just drove over there (had time to waste and wanted to get out of the apt that night). I had been calling to see if they had stuff when it said they did, but it always took them a while to find it and they weren't very good on describing the condition so I just would go out and look. I took a chance and got Snow White in good condition this way too.mikemgmve wrote:Did you call the store to verify they still had it before coming down to look at it? The only time I checked was for my Beauty and the Beast DVD- I called for that one because I was having a friend pick it up in another state. Took three calls to understand that they had both discs and the case, AND that they were in good condition.

Sometimes gamestop is a pain, but it's saved me tons of $$!

Looks like they need to update their site, as they don't have any in stock at the one store (within 200 miles - i checked for fun), that said they had 1-3.MinnieMe wrote:Yeah, some places seem to have a horrible selection while others have a great selection w/ stuff in good shape (saw the Donald treasure in like new condition w/ tin for $14 a few days ago). If by any chance you can check any near you, i'd appreciate the favor - but obviously you don't have to.
