going price for snow white?

Post by goofyestes »

I was searching on ebay and the prices vary so much! What should the going price be for a new, authentic, sealed version? I don't want any bootlegs, but this dvd seems to really vary.
Thanks!
Niki :)

From a trusted seller, I got a used copy (mint) for $45 shipped, so a sealed copy should be more than that. Good luck!

If you check enough brick-and-mortar stores like GameStop, E/B Games, FYE, Suncoast, Sam Goody, etc., you may be able to find a used copy in good condition for about $16.99

GameStop is my best friend when it comes to used DVDs, I was able to find these OOP DVDs there:
Snow White PE $16.99
Beauty and the Beast PE $12.99
Tarzan CE $12.99
Peter Pan SE $12.99
Pinocchio GC $14.99
Dinosaur CE $7.99

I totally agree with Escapay when it comes to Gamestop. I absolutely LOVE it!! I've bought my three big OOPs from there- Snow White, B&tB and the Fantasia Anthology (only $35 and perfect!!).

If you're set on a new and sealed copy though, I'd actually go with buying from Disneyguy. I bought a new/sealed copy of Sleeping Beauty from him a while ago and it was both in perfect condition and reasonably priced.

After seeing so many bad experiences with ebay, I hesitate to buy Disney DVDs from them anymore.

Goodluck! :)

Run-down pawn shops tend to sell them for a little cheaper. I've seen a DVD form Disney (dont remember which one) at a pawnshop that was only $15. Think it was Aladdin.

I know! Ultimatedisney.com will probably be my new ebay. (I hope that didn't offend anyone.) My Snow White arrived at my house today from RJKD23 and it's so sweet. :)

Hi I know Im new to the forum. I seen this post and was wondering about the prices also but the one im interested in is a Beauty and the beast enchanted christmas one. I was searching for disney movies on ebay and came across this dealer of disney movies only and he has actual pictures of his movies that he has for sell . They look to be the real deal what do you all think. you could take a look at it if you want. This is a Snow White PE http://cgi.ebay.com/Snow-White-PE-2001- ... dZViewItem
He has a Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas I am interested in and wonder though would 36 dollars be to much for it.

The Snow White DVD looks to be genuine from the pictures, though I'd question the oversized barcode sticker. I don't remember them being used back in 2001, I remember seeing them pop up in the last couple of years. $62 seems like a reasonable price for a new and unopened genuine Snow White, but right here at UD's Trade Forum, Pals is selling two copies, (presumably unopened) each going in the $35-$45 range.

And $36 is too much for Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas, but if that's your only option right now to get it, you might as well.

I bought a "rare" "Beauty and the Beast Belle's magical world" on there which was factory sealed and for about £22 including post and packaging!

I just wish that were an option for me! I live out in the boonies and I don't even know where the closest one of the those stores might be. Walmart is an hour and half a way and that is still a fairly small town that it is in. Thanks so much for the suggestion, though!

Thanks for the offer, but I'm kind of just watching prices on this one right now. It is my next one to buy, but I have bought too many dvds this month and am not letting myself get any more! I will definitely check here when I'm ready, though.
