Help Support the Site! Contribute with Amazon's Honor System

Post by Luke »

http://www.amazon.com/paypage/P33A0X1CKRVO64

The Amazon Honor System lets you support your favorite Web sites.

Paying is fast and easy: just click the Pay now button to begin.

Your credit card is secure.

Your privacy is protected.

Your payment is fully refundable for 30 days.
Since others have asked about setting up a PayPal account or something similar as a way to just contribute to the website, I've set up an Amazon Honor System Account. It was free, and as far as I can tell, they don't take off the top like PayPal.

If you'd like to contribute something - the minimum they accept is $1, and that's what I've set it too - feel free to. If not, feel free not to.

The website is here:

Okay, they do take a little off the top. $0.15 per transaction plus 5% of the contribution. Still, I think that may be less than PayPal's fees.

If I would have known I would have sent a little more... is it working now?

Yes, I guess so. One of the "2" payments it's showing went through okay. Though if you clicked the "Send Info" button, I didn't get anything about that...so that might not have worked.

Thanks, everyone.

I got to work out figures and stuff, but if we continue at a decent rate for the remainder of the year, and Q4 has the regular year-end increases, we should be able to increase the frequency of contests. I'm open to suggestions about those, too. (Though screencap identification ones probably aren't best for bandwidth issues. :o ) Open to suggestion about everything else, too. If there's some feature you'd like to see added to the forum or the site. That's what Feedback Forum is there for.

I made my contribution as well. I hope more people contribute. After all, it is only the cost of a morning coffee. We can all pretend we are buying ultimatedisney.com a coffee for all the hard work!

And UltimateDisney.com doesn't stain your teeth, increase blood pressure, or amplify stress. ;) :D

Quite the opposite for me. Ever since I started coming here, my teeth have been whitened, my blood pressure lowered, and my stress reduced!

Thanks UltimateDisney.com!

Yeah. It's tricky to make the joke amusing when you can't show the picture, but just link to it.

BTW, I'm probably going to make a donation either tomorrow or Monday. :)

You can show the picture...but it works as funny or even funnier though if you have to click the link, for some reason.

I guess that bonafied proof that movies can be better/more imaginative when there is limitations or restrictions put on the production . . . . . . kind of. :D

Do you accept money orders?

'Cause I tend to pay my Amazon purchases with money orders. (I have no credit card...not old enough yet.)

I don't think Amazon will take money orders for this. But I'm not sure. Did you try?
