Is this Sleeping Beauty DVD Legit?
I own two copies of the 2003 release of "Sleeping Beauty" Special Edition. I have a family member who would like the DVD as a gift for this Holiday Season. After carefully searching eBay I think I found a Legit, Region 1 copy of "Sleeping Beauty" Special Edition. I just need some help to be 100% sure. Thanks in advance.

I'd be very wary. I bought The Little Mermaid from someone who claimed the DVD was authentic, got it, and found out it was fake.
This seller seems to have a LOT of unopened Disney Out Of Print (OOP) DVDs. I don't know. Some of the pictures look convincing for some of the DVDs, but again, just seems too unlikely that this seller could have this many authentic DVDs, or at least, of some of the older DVDs such as The Lady And The Tramp.
Feedback is almost completely useless. Most people are too dumb to even know they've been ripped off, and thus post positive feedback. I mean, when I was searching for The Little Mermaid, I came across a whole bunch of sellers located in bootleg land, Asia. Of course, DVDs were all supposedly "authentic, new, unopened," but we all know that they're all bootleg. When you look at the feedback, my gosh, 98, 96, 97% of positive feedback.
Comments such as "Exactly what I wanted! Super!" or ,"Item shipped quickly, would do business with again anytime!" I mean, when I got my DVD, there was just something that wasn't quite right. They may be better done than bootlegs in the past, but you don't have to be a genius to see that there's something wrong.
Bootlegs now-a-days are really well done.
Anyway, my advice, just, be wary.

Nowdays many bootlegs are made it could be possible that it could be a bootleg.
Look at this users feedback he has sold Sleeping Beauty before.
Who has that many Sleeping Beauty DVD's anyways.
I don't trust this seller.

Yeah, but those sellers constantly sell 50 copies at a time.disneyguy wrote:Not Necessarily True, Some buy a bunch when they first come outLucylover1986 wrote:Yeah, I stay away from people who have tons of unopened oops disney dvd's to sell. If they have 2 or 3 copies of one movie then for sure!
and then save them till they go OOP (me included)..Nothing is for sure.
