Chicken Little

Post by Andy »

I know this is the international dvd section but it makes sense to discuss the international realease of Chicken Little here.

Went too see Narnia last night and on the way in i saw a Chicken Little promotional poster, then when the trailers came on guess what came on? :D Yes you guessed right......i hadnt seen this trailer before but all i can say is that the audience seemed to like it, i heard alot of laughs, then the ice age 2 trailer came on.....which looked pretty lame.

Also the Herbie dvd also has a "Chicken Little Coming...." sticker on the front of the case, anyone else seen any more promotion for it yet?

A lot of Disney DVDs that I've seen in shops have that sticker on them; I've seen Kronk's New Groove and The Muppet Christmas Carol with that label on, too.

I really agree with those reviews. Thanks for posting. Let's hope it does well at the UK Box Office.

Going Sunday afternoon and I'm sooo excited, not so much about the film (in fact the reviews have prepared me for the worst) but because it will be my little girl's first ever trip to the cinema. Kind of evokes memories for me and my first trip to the cinema with my mum to see The Fox and the Hound.

Wouldn't KFC be more appropriate for a Chicken Little meal? :D

Well the experience of taking my daughter to the cinema for the first time was magical but I have to confess I was a touch disappointed by the film. It was ok but I think it had the potential to be really great and that is more frustrating than seeing a bad film in my opinion.

Went to see it last night, and i dont know what to say about it really.
It was good, very good in fact but then i felt it had the potential to be a lot better. I loved the castle at the start though, and Fish :D

Amazing!

The UK Lady and the Tramp DVD comes out the Monday after the Friday Chicken Little opens, and they're already advertising the fact that the DVD will be out in the spring on it.

Of course, according to the studios, cinema audiences are declining because of pirate videos.

R-I-G-H-T.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I was the same when I saw it. I think it tries too hard to be like Shrek with contemporary music and in-jokes, but if it had focused more on what made Disney great then it could have been so much more!

I'm still shocked at the missed opportunity of Home on the Range Happy Meals :)
