I just have the default Cingular ringtones that came with my phone. However, I do have this angry cat sound effect (bottom of the list on that page) set up to go off when my mom calls. :P

I don't have a cell phone, and I have a strong feeling that anybody who has a phone that does anything other than ring has lost the right to complain about anything, at any time, anywhere.

Great choice Stashone. One of my favorite Link Wray tunes.

My cell phone right now has this annoying voice that starts off softly and gets progressively louder - it says "answer your phone" over and over. Explanation: I am not used to having a cell phone, this is my first one, and when it rang I never paid attention to it. Now if I don't want to be embarrassed by it, I answer it quickly. It was my daughter's idea, she got me the phone, and I would never asnwer. Now I do.

My cellphone got wet, and I had to replace it, so now the only ringtone I have is the War of the Worlds theme music. Really creepy stuff. I love it, and no one but me has it! :D

Heh, whatever came with it.

One time I sent it a couple of small mp3 files for ringtones, but one was too loud and would cause terrible distortion (I want the speaker to last!) and the other was too quiet. It takes some practice to get it right, but I could upload whatever I want if I can get the sound worked out.

I made my own ringtones. I'm not spending 2 bucks to download them (I'm cheap). I put on my favorite CDs then recorded the choruses from my favorite songs. I'm a dork, yes I know. I have to re-do the Rob Thomas one because I held the phone too close to the speaker. It sounds a little distorted but you can still understand what he's singing.

I have 2 ringtones. The first is Goofy saying "Telephone. It's for you. hi-yuck. Is anybody there?"
My current one is a Christmas theme Goofy saying" Ho, Ho, Ho. Merry Christmas. hi-yuck."
I'll be switching back to the first one after the holidays.

What's the program you use? I've been looking for a program to make my own ringtones--it's kinda hard to find free ones for a Samsung model.

I didn't use any program. All I did was get my favorite CDs and play them in my CD player very loudly. When the song got to the chorus, I would press the record button on my phone and record the chorus. My phone is able to record stuff so I used it to make homemade ringtones. Then I set the music as my ringtone.

Thank you.
Unless it's that annoying crazy frog ringtone. This woman at best buy today had that as her ringtone and she just stood there like an idiot while her cell phone was going off. That frog's gotta go!
