I would doubt it would be next. Disney will do all the ones with recognizable characters first. This one does not have any drawing power outside of those who remember seeing it.

There are several that do

Like
House of Mouse
Timon and Pumbaa
Lilo and Stitch
101 Dalmations
Little Mermaid
On and on......

I'm personally hoping TaleSpin's next - and I suppose it can be said that Baloo is a recognizable character. :)

HA!! Your kiding, right? Lilo and Stitch before Gummi Bears, BS! lol  If it wasn't for Gummi Bears then they would never have been Ducktales or any of them -- atleast for a while and if so it would have had that crappy late 90's stuff.

It's release is probably dependent on strong sales of these first two releases. So that's why it's important to buy both!

That's sad.

I find it so unfortunate that some people don't know anything about Gummi Bears or forgotten how good it is.
Personally I would want to see 'Gummi Bears' and 'TailSpin' next.
If Disney were using their minds they would pump out the Little Mermaid series too when the PE comes out next year.

Most of the late '90s stuff wasn't crap. Almost all of the late '90s stuff lasted for atleast three seasons.

Being on for three seasons does not mean it is not crap. :)

I don't think their late 90's stuff was crap but I certainly think much of it is missing the Disney magic.

Compared to earlier shows like Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Talespin, Rescue Rangers, etc they are what I consider to an extent "weak in writing". However, are there own with nothing else to compare to they are okay. But, now that older and more well written (my opinion) have been released consumers will have higher expectations of Disney animation. I don't think that would stop anyone though. I am going to buy every single Disney Animated series release and then into blu-ray.

Yeah, I'm sincerely hoping Talespin and Darkwing Duck are next. :D

So, go out and buy the DT/C&D:RR sets and support the Disney Afternoon.

You know, this really bothers me! I hate when people say, "Without this show/moive, we wouldn't even have your show/movie"! Just because 1 came before the other doesn't mean it's better! That's like saying Hitler was a better human being than Pope John Paul the IInd because he was born before him!

Ouch! Now I admit that the older show like DuckTales and Darkwing Duck were the best, there were some great shows! Recess was an awesome show while it lasted. If the Timon and Pumbaa show also counts, than crap is definitely not a word you would use! :D

As for season sets go, I'm also predicting Darkwing and Tale Spin are next!

I don't think they meant it to mean that Gummi Bears was a better show. Just saying that that show came first so it paved the way for the others to follow.

I do think that Gummi Bears should be released next because it would have as many sales as DuckTales, etc. Those who remember DuckTales, Chip and Dale, etc would definitly want to buy this show as well.

Personally I would rather see Gummi Bears, Talespin, etc before the newer stuff. Primarily because I like these shows better than the newer stuff. Just my preference.

Funny, because I remember DuckTales an Chip and Dale, but if I didn't go on the internet, I probably would've never heard of Gummi Bears! Oh well, I'm sure it would sell well, just not as well as other shows IMO.

That's just because you are young. Just think, in a decade you'll be talking about an older Disney show and people will be going, "Huh? That show is ancient!"

To me it feels like people have already forgotten about Jungle Cubs! The people around me though still remember 'Gummi Bears', an 80's classic to me and many others. Guess you have to be an 80's child. :)
