Oliver and Company DVD problem?

I just watched Oliver and Company for the first time (what a great movie!!) but about two minutes into the film there is a noticeable pause in the middle of a song. Is this true to all copies or did I get a bum one? I ordered from the DMC.

Hmm, it sounds like a layer change, but of course it wouldn't be at the beginning of the movie. My O&C doesn't contain this and its probably just your particular disc.

Might just be some dirt (usually fingerprints) on the disc surface. Wipe the disc gently with a soft cloth, or wash the disc with a drop of washing-up liquid and lukewarm water. Take care to only wipe in a radial direction, in a straight line between the hub and the rim. Never wipe in the same direction as the tracks go.

If that doesn't help, there might be some permanent error on the disc, and you should try to get it replaced.
