As far as I'm concerned, there's only one. Dodger from Oliver & Company. Tramp has nothing on this 80's mutt from NYC who knows "street savoir-fare". Plus he might be the most modern dog in the canon.
Favorite Disney dog?
Favorite Disney dog?
Disney's had it's share of animated dogs over the years. But, who's your favorite Disney dog?
As far as I'm concerned, there's only one. Dodger from Oliver & Company. Tramp has nothing on this 80's mutt from NYC who knows "street savoir-fare". Plus he might be the most modern dog in the canon.

Mickey's not a mouse then, cause he walks and talks.
Disney species are an anomaly, aren't they? I mean, you've got Goofy, a dog, yet Pluto's also a dog...and yet only one walks and talks. In the meantime, you've got Minnie, a mouse, and in some cartoons her pet is Figaro, a CAT. Also, there's the fact that Jiminy seems to be the only one of real height in the Disney-verse, since Mickey is a little under 4 feet tall, as is Donald, whereas Goofy towers over them...
If Goofy isn't officially in the running for what we consider a Disney dog, then I'm changing mine to Pongo.

Definitely Pongo and Perdita from 101 Dalmations and Tramp and Lady from Lady and the Tramp. My favorite dogs in non-Disney films are Karl from The Castle of Cagliostro, Jefferson from Kiki's Delivery Service, and Heen from Howl's Moving Castle.[/i]
