Whale Rider!

Post by Jake Lipson »

If any of you have the chance to see the beautiful movie that is "WHALE RIDER," take the chance. It's an independant hit about the preservation of cultural traditions and the acceptance of change that's a truly unique, moving movie experience. It has something for everyone and it will touch your heart. I really think it's a wonderful family movie in the vein of what Walt used to do.

I had heard really good things about this coming out of an independent film festival...can't remember if it was Cannes or the one they hold in Colorado. Anyway I do want to catch this one at some point.
