Disney Channel Game Shows

Post by Kram Nebuer »

:? Does anyone remember that brief time, probably late 1990s, when the Disney Channel had a few game shows. What were they called?

My friend and I were talking about it and its driving us nuts. I remember one based on the word game book Mad Libs and there was another one. Also I remember one show was hosted by the guy with red hair on Animal Planet and he was host on that great Disney Channel Show "Inside Out," that show about WDW.

She remembers a game where a girl had the word shotput and had to spell it or something and they threw stuff across the room that started with "s."

We also remember a game where you had to spell words on a pane of glass by either writing with ketchup or licking off icing. There was a game where they'd say a group of words or things or whatever and you had to say the last word (e.g. "Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty...." answer "Ariel or Belle or Jasmine or Nala...etc"). There was another part where one partner would go into something and the other was at a computer, helping them.

I don't know if all these details were from the same show, but I know there were definitely at least 2 game shows on the Disney Channel. They'd play during the after school hours.

I remember "Teen Win, Lose or Draw". It was hosted by Marc Price ("Skippy" on "Family Ties").

On "MMC", they did a lot of game show segments.
