Thanks for the link, Stew and welcome to the forums!

These quotes stuck out for me:

--When asked how he felt about Finding Nemo taking the top spot away from The Lion King as the most successful animated movie at the US box-office (Producer) Don (Hahn) responded with a surprising “I think it’s about time really!”. Elaborating on this Don explained how he loved the movie and that Andrew Stanton (director of Nemo) and many of the guys at Pixar are friends of his, so was thrilled to see it do so well.

With traditional animated movies seeing a decline in the US (both Disney and Dreamworks have been suffering of late) I asked if Don believed CG animation would eventually render 2D techniques obsolete.
I think the success of a movie is based on storytelling and catching the imagination of the audience, if you can succeed in those areas then a traditional animated movie can still do well as Lilo & Stitch recently proved.” --

Again, nice to see in print what I've been proclaiming since my early days here. And this time it's coming from someone with a tad bit more influence than myself 8)

This article confirms that Rowen Atkinson is not involved in The Morning Report.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Thanks for the link, it's a great article.
I think it's great that they are including both the original mix and the special edition mix, just like they did on Snow White DVD. At least the soundtrack is the original thing, unlike the Beauty and the Beast DVD, where the soundtacks for special and original editions are the same.

Glad you all liked it, and thanks for the welcomes :).

I think it's going to be a little strange in the Special Edition cut of the film where Zazu starts out voiced by Rowan Atkinson, then the voice will change for 'Morning Report' (perhaps to the same voice actor who played Zazu in LK2), then switch back again to Atkinson!

I've never seen the sequel, so I don't know how good a job the replacement actor did. Can anyone fill me in?

You can see for yourself:

I think the Rowan replacer is closer to Zazu than the Jason Weaver replacer is to Simba. Nonetheless, the song doesn't work anyway.
