Animated Opening Scene Survivor - Round 12 - Closed

Post by Disney-Fan »

Welcome to the Animated Opening Scene Survivor Round 12.

Please note if you do not have 50 posts, your vote will not be counted.

This is a contest in which we aim to find out what UD members think is the most dramatic, intense, epic or climatic opening to an animated feature film. Please remeber, we are voting for a specific scene, not the movie as a whole. Please vote accordingly.

Everyone is welcome! You do not need to have voted in previous rounds.

Rules are simple. 1 film will leave and not make it through to the next round, there are 3 days for voting with every round.

We are voting for the opeing sequence we like least!

We each have 1 vote! You vote for 1 film!

Please make your votes in bold if making a long post which mentions more than one film to avoid confusion.

Happy voting!

Nooooo! You've all gone mad!

Aladdin - Arabian Nights. I can't believe I'm voting out my favorite movie. Oh well, if it's to save my favorite opening sequence, so be it.

I can't believe it! Aladdin's opening is inferior to the Hunchback.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame - The Bells of Notre Dame

Aladdin is been one of my favorite openings as a child, IMO is a breathtaking opening, especially when you see the palace for the first time.

In terms of openings, I think so. Movies, no. I just think that since the contest is asking which opening is more intense, Hunchback would win. A woman being chased down by a man who intends on killing her and her baby is much more intense than seeing a palace and a man riding a camel.

Yeah, but the song counts too, and Arabian Nights is a great song, even though it's short.

As well as "The Bells of Notre Dame," even though it's long. :P
