Well, I always assumed Urchin was 13 or 14 since his voice had changed. If Ariel's youngest sister were 17 he'd still be old enough. I always assumed each sister was a year or so apart. None of them appear older than their early 20's. Perhaps a few were even twins. But there's a thought.

I always felt that Urchin had a crush on Ariel. She was sweet to him, and that's why she liked him (not to metion her good looks). He was protective over her, too. Remember "A Marriage of Inconvience". Well, that's just my thoughts.

Oh dear, Urchin scares me. His proportions. -shudders-

As for Ariel's sisters, I love them. Sweet Alana is my favorite. <3

Oh, I get it. You mean you like the whole "Daughters of Triton" scene, where Ariel's sisters are introduced. The way you stated it previously it seemed to me that it hadn't to do anything with the sisters themselves but just with the fact that Ariel was missing from her shell because she went exploring. I just thought you were talking only about Ariel not her sisters.

I'm close friends with some of Loish's friends.

Oh, on the subject of Ariel's sisters, they are all one year apart in the original fairy tale.

Her spirit lived on...and then Mr. Anderson inserted a moral. "Be good, boys and girls! If you don't, the mermaid will be a wandering spirit forever!"

It's a 90's Arista. Tis amazing how retro the 90's seem now.

By the way, the other picture (back a couple of pages) was drawn by my friend Amy Paulson. She used to have a website where she took orders...I believe it's temporarily on hiatus.
