TSC deal:
Mr. Potato Head- $24.97 at Target
http://www.target.com/Super-Technology- ... 0Technolog
That's cheaper than at Shopko, and probably in better condition too.

EDIT: Scratch that, $12.99 at Amazon. Silly me!
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

Probably going to get him, cause I didn't get Jessie cause I want her to be even cheaper. Does anyone know how many sayings he has?

I was about to get him, and asking for him as a present - my mom replies "I've already spent too much on you already :)" Understandable, Coa Jessie - $40, Scooby Doo Complete Series - $64, Unknown Present - $600. But still at that price I feel ripped off slightly for not getting him :P Oh well :kermit:

Missed out on Potato Head. :( I came home on that Friday and: BAM he was back to $21.99. Now he's $24.99. I know that's still a good deal (half off), but I'm really not willing to pay that much for a talking potato who explodes occasionally.
In good news, I finally got my hands on Slinky (yes, the crappy version)! I cut off his red string and his internal string, and I re-attached the red string on his forehead to the little loop on his chest, but now he falls over a bunch. I think I'll have to lengthen the string. I read somewhere around here to color in his ears with a brown felt marker, am I right? Also, does anyone know how to completely remove the red string? If you look at my picture, there's still some visible there. Here's some pics of him:

Stretchy Slinky!

To Get the string off....i'm no expert but maybe a small pair of scissors....to cut the knot on the string then maybe that would loosen it enough to the point it will come of....and a small pair of Scissors looks like it would be best like a medical pair of scissors perhaps though then again I don't do this type of thing....at least anymore....Like one time I took a happy meal toy of Pinky & The Brain that Pinky was in the wheel of the toy bike with Brain on top of it...I used a scissors (with some strength to break through to the ball of the wheel Pinky was in and I got him out and It was easy Getting Brain off too...sadly I probably don't have those anymore,

Also there is a time I wanted to make a mutant toy after Toy Story came out. So I used a Ninja turtle with no legs and had help from my cousin and he bolted Baxter Stockman's Fly Wings onto the back of the shell more to the closest point where the missing turtles legs where so he could fly and walk sorta......again sadly I think it's been thrown out at one time but it still could be in a storage box sometime.....

And I apologize for getting off topic...so to get back on topic..

Are there going to be any new Toys such as Prospector or anything in the Toy Story Collection or is what's out is all we'll get?

Oh, ok. Thanks! Do you think sewing scissors would work?

I've heard Wave 3 is expected next fall. We don't know for sure what's in there, but I'm thinking the Prospector, Zurg, and Mrs. Potato Head.

In other things, I'm planning on writing my name on Buzz and Woody's right feet (like in the movie), but I'm not sure where to write it for Slinky. Would it work if I wrote on Woody in crayon, and would a permanent marker work for both?

I think that would work better...in fact they might be what I used in my Pinky and the Brain toy long long ago

Well, Andy didn't write it on Slinky anyway.

as for the crayon thing, I tried it on woody's foot and while I was able to do it, its vey hard due to the lack of texture. its near impossible to get crayon to stick to a glossy surface, and thinkway made it very glossy for reason, unlike Jessie's when retains the texture underneath.

Anyway, got Lotso for christmas.

Well, I own the Playtime Sheriff Woody (not the TSC version), and his foot is like Jessie's (retains the texture). So do you think it would work?

He looks great! You know, I'm kinda on the fence about him, because I love all his sayings (saw a Youtube review), but he's just a teddy bear after all, and I can only seem to find him at his retail price (or more).

Yeah, I was really rushed that week, and I was disappointed that he was back to half price so quickly. Oh well. When you get him, I hope you enjoy him!

Wave 3 news, kinda.

This was copy and pasted from Pixar Planet forums by user Doomseeker. I edited some of the unnecessary stuff out, just an fyi. Ive also bolded the important stuff.
Just wanted to give you guys my view on what I saw today at the UK toy fair.

I headed straight to Vivid's stand (Vivid are the distributor for Thinkway toys in the UK) And saw....well it was awesome. The first Toy I saw was Zurg, now I first saw Zurg at toy fair 2 years ago before the TSC line launched which also included (although we have been told he's not part of the line and won’t be) Hamm. At that time Zurg was slated for a TSC launch. The Zurg I saw today looked awesome and would be a great addition to the line but alas isn't, the proto box that was next to this toy was a U-COMMAND like the current Buzz toy, shame but it still looked awesome!

Next was Mr Pricklepants, he looked ace really good and the box was mega, the box looks like velvet curtains...really cool and was branded TSC.

Twitch was next and to be honest looked very similar to the existing toy but with better paint apps and his staff, the box was nothing special but again was TSC branded

BIG BABY!!!! really surprised by this.....especially as it's an as new Big Baby like in the film, no broken eye, no tattoos etc... a perfect brand new baby, I didn't like it but hey sure some of you guys will dig it, again this was TSC branded.

Dolly and Buttercup were next....Dolly looks great but the box was a bit bland, buttercup looked OK but not much different to the current DS offering. Both TSC branded.

The big surprise...Woody, Jessie and Buzz all wearing Hawaiian clothing....my guess is that it somehow ties in with the Ken and Barbie short that will be shown with Cars 2????
Interestingly some of the toys were prototypes only...my guess is that they are not guaranteed for production and are there to gauge retailer interest (that's what the show is for)toys that were prototype only include.....Big Baby, Buttercup and Dolly. Here's hoping they don't end up like Hamm.
We don't have official confirmation that any of this is true, and the user said no pics were allowed. I'm inclined to believe it though.

Sort-of a shame about Twitch... I mean I already have the current one which I think is great, and I don't wanna re-buy a Collection one (which I've already done with Buzz and Jessie >_>) but I DO want the staff.

Big Baby sounds... interesting. If it's really a "brand new" Big Baby I don't see the point. Why not make it look like his movie self?

I'll be getting Dolly, Buttercup, and Mr. Pricklepants for sure though!

We'll still need Zurg, Stinky Pete, Mrs. Potato Head, and Trixie though. I'm looking forward to actual confirmation from Thinkway though.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

About big baby, they're doing that for the same reason we don't get Andy written on buzz and woody's feet. Your buying these toys brand new, not after any wear and tear or customizing. If you want them to look like they do in the movies its not hard to do it ourselves. Also worth noting: a baby doll is far more marketable with clothes looking brand new. It's going to look more or less like he does in the movie after you let a todler get a hold of it anyway. Heh

Interesting. If that Wave 3 lineup is true, I wonder why it's so heavy with TS3. I was hoping for Zurg and Pete.

They say Mr. Pricklepants packaging has curtains on it to match his Shakespearian style, but I always thought his performance personality was something he invented himself to be or created by Bonnie. Would he really be marketed as a Shakespearian quoting hedgehog by the packaging? That would be rather cool if so, heh. Also, if there was not enough retail interest for the original TSC Hamm, then I doubt we'll be seeing everybody both Dolly and Buttercup. I expect one of those two to go before they reach shelves. Big Baby and Mr. Pricklepants are excellent choices.

Regardless, I'm just grateful the line is continuing, hopefully we'll get some pictures soon!
