Totally didn't think of this before, but one Toy Story 3 character I really hope they do make and that I definitely would try to get would be the girl Dinosaur. She was very funny. Besides Ken and Barbie (whom I have the current versions of), that's the only Toy Story 3 character I would LOVE to have (though if they come out with Stinky Pete AND Zurg, I'll definitely then get Lotso).

So I'm thinking about getting a Slinky Dog to go w/my collection and I have a question, which i'm sure you all know what i'm going to ask. Are all the current versions of Slinky out there the same version, just different packaging, or is one better than the rest?

How is Lotso out of scale? He's what a realistic teddy bear would look like I think he's awesome!

...not 50 dollars awesome however.

In regards to Slinky Dog, it's my understanding they're all the same, as far as what's in stores right now. To be say, get it from Target, Toys R Us, or the Disney Store, but there is NO Toy Story Collection authentic version, just the one with the string in the forehead and all.

How has everyone filled in the hole in the head once they removed the string? Any pics of the results we can see?

I've posted a picture of my group collection, but I don't think you could make out any details like that. Still, mine looks pretty decent, but I don't know ifyou could make it completely impossible to tell. Anyway, I cut off the string, then I had to twease out some of the fibers still, because some were still sticking out. I filled it in with bath tub sealant stuff, I think, and later painted over the spot with acrylic paint. I'm an artist, so I'm pretty good at mixing colors and almost matched it perfectly. So, like I said, it looks good, but of course you can still see the small circle. I don't know if that could be avoided.

For anyone who needs Bullseye, disneystore.com is now selling him but he's the usual Disney price which is higher than retail. But he's there!!

I'm thinking about starting this collection, but I'm not sure who to get first. Money is real tight around my house, and I don't have a job, so I can't start it now, but when I do who would be a good first choice?
Disney is awesome, and was the biggest part of my childhood.

You can either start with the cheaper stuff, like the bucket of soldiers and the aliens, or go for the higher end stuff, $50.00 and up. if you go with the higher stuff, Buzz is the best bang for your buck.

Also, if you don't want to pay for all 3 aliens, or you want to pick your own poses/expressions you can go with the target exclusive single packs. their not technically part of the collection, but its the same sculpt, and has darker blue paint, which is more accurate anyway. but its up to you if you want to sacrifice the Certificate of authenticity.

Just bought my Buzz and Woody and they are quite possibly the coolest toys I've owned in my 31 years. I have soaring adventures with my Buzz, and long intellectual conversations with Woody.

I think I'd like to get the rest of the available Round Up gang, although I've had trouble finding anything beyond the two I have (and the Soldiers and Rex) in the K-Marts and Targets of Sydney. May have to make a special trip out to the Toys R Us.

On a semi-related note, I saw what was clearly a young boy dressed in a Jesse the Cowgirl outfit going to the movies the other day and I just thought "Right on, parents! Don't be defined by gender boundaries!"

My Bullseye from TRU-online and Hamm from the Disney store arrived today and I was so excited.....more for Bullseye than for Hamm. I was afraid that my Bullseye would be messed up like earlier pics have shown some of the ones that were put together sloppily, but mine is perfect. I have everything except for a Slinky, Lotso, the Army Men, and the Aliens. I was thinking that now that I have Hamm, and as soon as I pick up Slinky, i'm sure that Thinkaway will announce versions for both of those characters.....that's just my luck when I spend money.

my woody, jessie and bullseye arrived from australia yesterday. i had no idea bullseye was so massive! i also had to open jessie as she had a bit of fluff on her eye and it was annoying me. lol. tried blowing it off through the holes and shaking it, but didnt work.

with jessie and woodys boxes and the background colors, are the fronts meant to be a different shade to the top flap? jessies almost looks faded, but the rest of the colors on the logos and stuff are fine.

im loving the 3 new arrivals. just wish i could afford a second set to open.

^^^ You've got that backwards. You should open the ones you have and wish you had enough to buy a set to keep closed.

And I still haven't found Bullseye at retail ;_; But I remember it took me a long time to find Potato Head at retail when I started seeing pics of him online, so I'm not worried.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

I never found Bullseye at retail, and to be honest for his price and the exquisite detail and awesomeness of this item I would be shocked if he lasted a day after being put out on the shelves. I'm guessing that due to his box size that each store gets probably two of them w/each shipment. It might be beneficial to just order him off a retail website for the regular price, not the jacked up prices on Amazon or eBay. I got mine off TRU, I had to check each day as they were always sold out, but when it showed in stock I jumped on it and fast.

When I bought mine they had 4, so I doubt the 2 per shipment thing. I believe it was their first time getting him that day.

i only paid about $100AUD [$91USD] for mine, which i thought wasnt bad considering i paid $140NZD [$102USD] for buzz. plus its unlikely we will get anymore TSC toys here as they two we do have arent selling. [buzz and army men]

We're having the same issue in my neck of the woods. Army Men, Buzz, Woody and Potato Head are the only ones available here and they aren't selling at all; though it doesn't surprise me. Why would a parent pay an extra 20-30 dollars (50 in the case of Mr. Potato Head) for them when they are sitting on the shelf right next to the cheaper one that looks pretty much the same. The young kids they are being bought for don't care if they are exact replicas or not they just want a Buzz and Woody.

I finally picked Buzz and Woody up today because Zellers had slashed their price to 25 dollars.

Lotso was the only one that sold out and that happened before the movie was released when the TSC Lotso was the only one they had. If they got more they would probably sit on the shelf too just like all the cheap Lotsos they have now.

On another note: anybody know if the Disney Store's website ships to Canada? I really want the Hamm, Twitch and Chunk they have.

He retails for roughly $70 Dollars US, which probably means he will cost about $130-150 in your currency.

I've never seen RC in stores, and Toys R Us Canada doesn't sell him online so chances are I'll have to pay a pretty premium if I want RC. Luckily he's not a priority of mine.

I'm really hoping more TSC toys are announced soon... I really want a High Quality Slink, and a new Wheezy toy. Actual Wheezy squeak toys are selling for like 300+ on ebay and they aren't even close to proper scale.
