Yeah, I even went back three times and tried to figure out which answers you had to pick to get her, but I could never get it.Isidour wrote:I hope that is transmited here soon
by the way, I`m the only one who has got "Yzma" at the test?

I just saw the fourth episode of the series. I can see how it can get annoying. I just hope that it doesn't get much more annoying because I'm still enjoying it, but if it gets more annoying then I won't be able to watch it. I'm looking forward to the holiday episodes, like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day, and Easter. Usually the best episodes of a series are these ones, so if Disney can make these ones good, then I'm sold.

Because learning anywhere else would be pointless.Ariel'sprince wrote:okay but i don't understand why is he learning in a school?

They realized that Kuzco had not completed school, thus he cannot be an emperor. He has to pass all of his classes before he can return to the throne. Not sure why Kronk's gotta be in school with him, though. I could've sworn he was in his late twenties or something.
That's pretty much it.

I actually like this show. I like JP Mannoux as Kuzco even better than David Spade. Melena is my fav!

Yzma definitely saves the show. Malina gets on my nerves. I'd be hypocritical to have anything against intelligent cheerleaders-- or pushy personalities. It's simply that Malina is always right about everything. The other characters are insanely flawed, since this is an animated comedy, but Malina stands out as a complete Mary-Sue. She can do no wrong, from what I've seen. The fact that Kuzco (who is supposed to be self-centered) is desperately in love with her adds even more to her Mary-Sue factor.

That's hot.
The Emperor's New School
Am I the only one that is annoyed at this show?
Like many other Disney fans I enjoyed "The Emperor's New Groove" and I thought "Kronk's New Groove" was really good. But this TV show is very annoying and ruins the quirky Emperor's legacy.
First, Kuzco's "Its all about me!" personality gets old and grating really quick. In was funny in the movie because it was shown in small doses and in the end you took sympathy because he was very misguided. In the series he's one big a-hole that's very hard to care about. It makes his friendship with Pacha very unlikely. Plus HE...DOESN'T...STOP! Not even in the movie he was so in love with himself.
Second, the great jokes from the movie become tired in the series. They took the great and inspired jokes from the movie and stretched them so far throughout the series that they no longer have the spark and wit that made the movie so great. For example, the "Kuzco stopping the film" gag gets used A LOT in the series to the point where it gets old. In the movie that happened like 2 times and that's why it was funny. Another example, remember the scene in the movie in which Yzma plans with Krunk her evil plan to destroy Kuzco (the one with the flea and the box)? Well in the series that joke gets used a lot as well and it too loses its charm. I think even the trampoline joke gets used on occasion!
Worst of all, the new jokes fall flat. So bad that they have to rely on the movie's jokes to deliver humor. Some are pretty good (like the Kuzco's sketches scenes) but the majority of them are just blah.
So once again, am I the only one that feels this way about the show?

Agreed- but I do watch the show for Yzma. I'm so glad Eartha Kitt continues to voice her.
That being said, Malina is a complete Mary-Sue. I hate her character, which I suppose is rather hypocritical on my part, but ugh. She's an intelligent albeit bossy cheerleader. Mm-hm, so far I can't condemn that.
That had potential. Problem is, Malina's always right and she knows this. She also ruined Kuzco's personality by being his love interest. Whatever happened to the Kuzco who wouldn't choose his bride?
Also, what is Kronk doing in high school?

Actually... I love the Emperor's New School. I've only seen the movie once though, so I'm not biased towards that at all... if anything the show makes me want to SEE the movie again

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.
