Marky wrote:And Escapay, like I said, ALL these things I mentioned were spread out over a 100 threads. So it's good to have them all together in 1 thread now.
Well, for the people that actually care about the film at least.....
See, there you go again, basically saying that only the people who agree with your opinion are in the right. And you expect the rest of us to just take that lying down?
Marky wrote:Going constantly off-topic, and being rude to other members is also against UD's primary rules isn't it?
Yes, but you're guilty of being rude to other people too, by the simple act of dismissing their opinions as if they were false and constantly saying that they don't love a film simply because they don't worship the "original" the way you do.
Marky wrote:If you love this tarnished version, then speak it out and if you don't like it, then speak it out too, and if you don't have anything to say about it, then don't reply.
Two problems:

1. If we love the "tarnished" version and we speak out, you immediately bash us.

2. If we don't say anything about the "tarnished" version, you immediately claim that everyone automatically hates it.

Until you learn to accept other people's opinions and not just call them wrong because you think you are right, then I'll continue to go off topic, I'll continue to pass the popcorn, and I'll continue to just be all around nonsensical towards your posts since you appear to be nonsensical towards everyone else's.

Sunny Wing wrote:So . . . Scaps, now that I'm taking a closer look, the printing on the popcorn boxes are supposed to be blood-red! Are you blind? Can't you tell that they tampered with the original vision of what a traditional popcorn box is supposed to look like? And the same goes for the Milk Duds, that yellow box is way too bright and makes the product lack dimension. Either of these are only suitable for eating while watching Saturday morning cartoons; I don't care about the quality of the stuff inside or how it might taste, it's packaged all wrong and makes me lose my appetite! Walt would have never approved of such a snack and any true Disney fan should know better.
Yes, the red in the box is wrong. I was in a rush so instead of getting the true Delicious Nutritious boxes, I had to pick up the Delicious Nutritious Special Edition boxes. It's a lighter shade of red because the box designer thought it would appeal more in today's society, as blood-red has a stronger connotation that just isn't appropriate for popcorn. But the Milk Duds, I don't see how you think the yellow is too bright! I got it direct from the source: Hershey, Pennsylvania! And of course it has dimension, just look at the thing! Just LOOK AT IT! Maybe you need to get your eyes checked. ;)

But I can't stop looking... Marky's giant pink donut is enticing me! Or was it red in the original non-hi def theatrical release?

And Escapster, I have now poisoned one thing of yours. Try and guess what it is. I think the answer will surprise you!

Ok, can you please show me all the other threads that speak about the mirrored image in "something there" and the removed scene of Belle and the Beast at the end of the song?

And can you also give me a link to where the "something there" clips were used before?

Thank you.

This is easily turning into one of my favourite threads at UD, and for all the wrong reasons!

I always thought they called him Copper because he's a doggy, and the words "copper" and "doggy" have an "o" followed by two of the same consonants!

Perhaps he poisoned the milk duds.... it would be cruelly ironic if the things that were jokingly believed to be poison were, in fact, poison.... *glances about suspiciously*

Hey Marky, would you like some Milk Duds?

 Glad you liked them Marky... bwahahaha....

Anyway, no, it isn't necessarily the specific things (like clips of a particular song). We're all really annoyed with the fact that you keep bringing up everything that displeases you with a DVD that came out years ago. Yes, you have every right to feel the way you do, but you won't shut up about it! Besides, there are a thousand other threads in which you gripe about incorrect colors, minute changes, etc. You didn't have to start a new thread to simply add another bullet to your ever-growing list of constant gripes. We get it already! Now stop!

And, as you were already told, those alterations make a heck of a lot more sense than the original versions. The early renaissance films had very difficult productions, rushed and kept on relatively tight budgets. Mistakes were made. Now, they can be fixed. Also, the two clips you showed, in my opinion, do a good job in highlighting how much better the newer edition looks than the older one. Brighter colors, perhaps, but definitely a sharp, beautiful picture. And what with the bright colors used in TLM and Aladdin, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that the original intention was, in fact, this restoration.

Nah, I don't think the Milk Duds are poisoned. They're too orgasmically delicious to be poisoned. :D

Unless that's what Brends wants us all to think. After all, who would poison Milk Duds?

I still think it's the apple cider because how often do you come across poisoned apple cider?

Maybe he re-poisoned the poisoned dragon's liver.

 Or the mango-wuzzle jam.

Well, whatever it is, let's give some to Marky so that he can have a delicious snack while he watches the "tarnished" version of BatB for the 3,000,000th (and final) time.

Who needs TV when you've got this? And without commercial interruptions, might I add! :D

::continues watching keenly with his OWN snacks to prevent accidental poisoning of any sort::

Will the mods shut this thread down? Will Marky go Carrie on all of us? The suspense is killing me. I hope it'll last.
