MM1 and Rowlf, is Brothers and Sisters better than Desperate Housewives?

They are two different shows, so, it's hard to say one is better than the other. However, I, personally, have grown more attached to Brothers and Sisters. I still LOVE Desperate Housewives, but, Brothers and Sisters holds a slight edge. Of course, it could change from one week to the next, depending on how good of an episode each show had.

My FAVE of the two is Desperate ...

B&S is a dramedy as well ... but it has a greater percentage of drama than comedy ... at least that's how I would classify it ... MM1 chime in if you'd like ...

I mean ... what happens within this family during a week ... is just about what happens to one family in a lifetime LOL

I agree with everything RTD says about Brothers and Sisters. Much more drama than comedy in the show. Yes, the amount of drama this family goes through is A LOT. The best part is, they can fight like cats and dogs (and boy, do they), but, they still love each other, and come together in a crisis. Oh, and if you have a secret, don't tell one of them, because EVERYONE in the family will know. It really is a great show. You can't go wrong with it!

I watched the show for the first time tonight, and after one episode I can honestly say that I love the show. I know practically nothing about it but what I saw I liked.

Are the earlier season(s) on DVD yet? I'd love to pick them up and be all caught up for a new season this fall.

YAY!!! Thanks for posting that, RTD! I didn't even know that it had been announced. However, is Season 3 going to start in October? That seems rather late!

The new season might start the Sept 21 or 28 ... I'm guessing ...

All I know is I read on E! a while back that they added a few more episodes to next season ... so it's going to be a little longer ...
