I just finished my order. I'd recommend using Babylon 8 Translator for the checkout process. Address 1, 2, and 3 are the City, number, and Street number respectively.JustOneBite87 wrote:

disneyboy, only in America does 12/02/2010 mean December 2, 2010. To the rest of the world, thats February 12, 2010
I just don't understand why the North American release is the only one delayed. I also don't understand why Ultimate Disney's sources couldn't leak the delay until two days after it was supposed to be released.
Dumbo Release Schedule
January 15-28th at the El Capitan
<strike>February 2nd in North America</strike>
February 2nd in Hong Kong
February 12th in Mexico
February 17th in France
March 3rd in Italy
March 10th in Norway
March 11th in Germany
March 17th in Japan
March 22nd in the UK
March 24th in Spain
We even have a complete list of extras:
Blu-ray Special Features
Deleted Scenes
Deleted Scene: The Mouse’s Tale (5:20)
Deleted Song: “Are You a Man or a Mouse” (3:31)
Backstage Disney
Taking Flight: The Making of Dumbo (26:56)
Magic of Dumbo: Ride of Passage (2:59)
Sound Design Excerpt from “The Reluctant Dragon” (5:40)
1941 Theatrical Trailer (2:09)
1949 Re-Release Trailer (1:15)
Original Walt Disney Television Introduction (1:04)
BD Only
DisneyView / Cine-Explore
Art Galleries
Featurette: “Celebrating Dumbo” (14:51)
Bonus Shorts: “The Flying Mouse” and “Elmer Elephant”
Games: “What Do You See?” (Family Play) and “What Do You Know” (Smart Play)
The whole darn thing is ready to go (as evident from the Mexican release case pictures), I just don't understand why they'd withhold it from us.

It's very simple: It's been delayed to protect Princess and the Frog. By having both come out so soon, those who want up Dumbo would be more likely to wait for PatF and vice-versa.
It isn't a problem everywhere else as Disney is waiting longer to release Princess, which they should be doing in North America if they want any box office revenue left.
As for the dates - That's why I use DD-MMM-YYYY (ie. 02-Jan-2009).

Where'd you get that feature list from?
So that means what's missing is just:
-Canemaker commentary
-2 Baby Mine music videos
-Non-existent Dumbo 2 trailer
-2 sing alongs
-1 dvd storybook
-DisneyPedia
That's almost not too bad for a Disney release.
Understandable why Dumbo 2 was dropped, and the sing-alongs and DVD storybook. The music videos I'm guessing can be found on YouTube and aren't really anything to do with the movie.
I'm sure the commentary couldn't have taken that much space. They should have offered it as a separate track or something.
What is DisneyPedia?

According to Bill Hunt at The Digital Bits, Dumbo is still coming out this year, just delayed a bit. Bill is rarely, if ever, wrong so I'd trust this info over the front page with no source. Here's the link http://www.thedigitalbits.com/#mytwocents

Disneyboy, the $ was used for pesos long before being used for US Dollars. I translated the page myself. It also said their prices are made with pesos in mind.
Edit: My Source is the Final Order page from Mixup.

Our prices are in Mexican Pesos with tax included. The Internet rates are not the same Store. The prices are updated daily, by what they can vary so unexpected in his next visit The promotions announced are valid in online shopping

I just found something off of Blu-Ray.com which is about the delay of the release date for "Dumbo". I was checking through Wal-Mart, Target and other stores, they did not have it yet. Here is an article:
I hope you should stay tuned about this situation for this delay. Keep on checking it back.Disney Blu-ray Classics Reshuffled, Including Dumbo
by Juan Calonge
Ultimate Disney is informing that the Blu-ray release of Dumbo (slated for last Tuesday) won't be released on Blu-ray until February 2011. Reportedly, there won't be any classic animated Disney titles on BD in the first half of the year. Beauty and the Beast is still scheduled for October, and Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 are bumped from May to December. The Lion King is expected for October 2011.
Back in August 2009, Ultimate Disney had reported that Dumbo would be released on Blu-ray in February 2010. Then in November, it went up on the Disney site, with a release date of February 2. However, that date came and went without a formal announcement.
However, the global community of blu-ray.com is reporting that this title is being released elsewhere – specifically, it's been physically sighted in Mexico by forum member rafaelsalguero. It's now available for rental in Mexico, and will be released for sale on February 12.
It is also up for preorder in France (release date February 17), Germany (March 11), the UK (March 22) and Spain (March 24).

musicradio77 did you read any of the past few pages of this thread? Because, if you had you would know that all of that had already been posted in some shape or form.
I would agree with drnilescrane about the probable reason why Dumbo is being delayed in the US, but why would they feel threatened? Dumbo was going to be released more than a month prior to PatF. That's sufficient time for a family that wants both films to raise the money to buy both. On top of that Dumbo would have provided a easy way to advertise the upcoming PatF and maybe even offer coupons to boost it's sales. Above all of that is the fact that if they were so worried about how it would sell against Dumbo, why on earth would they decided to release it the same day that New Moon is being released? The Twilight Saga: New Moon vs. The Princess and the Frog.... hmmm, wonder who'll end on top?
Frankly, I have no idea why Dumbo is being delayed. There really seems to be no point to me, but what else can we do but be patient and wait? It really could be a lot worse after all. Can you imagine if this release was supposed to be Hunchback or Hercules and then pulled this crap? For the sake of keeping this a family show, i'd rather not say.
