Prince Ali wrote:On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate this show, Merman? I've never watched it, but I've contemplated buying the first season at Target since it's on sale for such a cheap price. Well Ali I've been a huge fan of "The OC" ever since it's beginning season, yet I've never purchased the sets. On your scale I'd say the episodes range from about an 8-10, each being ridiculously entertaining regardless.

Just the fact that you loved Adam's performance in his widely panned film solidifies to me that you'll undoubtably love the show just as much as myself. I say go ahead---treat yourself!

Oh yeah, of course. Forgot about that!
I envy you, Aaron. Here in Germany it's not being released until June 27th.

The OC: The Complete First Season - $22.99

Well, I guess I've got sucker written all over me. After being the king of all OC bashers, I bought one of the season sets...and I'm actually enjoying it. Once I saw Adam Brody in In the Land of Women, I was dying to see more of his work. Thanks to The Little Merman for pushing me to pick up the set!

Yeah, so I had to go back to Target and pick up another season before the sale ended yesterday. Oh and good job Ali, I'm glad you're enjoying it!

In that case, pick up Growing Up Brady as well. Not only do you get the Brody as Barry Williams, but Kaley Cuoco plays Maureen McCormick, and Phil Diffy, er, Ricky Ullman, plays Christopher Knight.

I did hear something about him playing Barry Williams in Growing Up Brady. I've never actually seen it, but I do remember the commercials for it a few years ago. I'll have to check it out. Do you think I'd have to order it online? It doesn't seem like a film that most retailers would carry.
The Little Merman wrote:Yeah, so I had to go back to Target and pick up another season before the sale ended yesterday.
Actually, the sale doesn't end until May 8th. Thank goodness for that! I'd like to pick up the other two sets for something less than $60.
