you need to watch the movie to fully enjoy the videogame(which is very good indeed, I just bought it saturday with the midnight club and Conker´s Live and reloaded and I´m on the second mision after the first Batmovile mission(which is very very fun)

Yeah it is fun! I finished it and still plan on buying it. I was a bit confused with some things but my sister explained it to me since she has seen it already.

I saw it the other day....SOME SPOILERS!!!

May I just say, all my faith is restored!!

Christian Bale is a great Batman....but he's an even better Bruce Wayne. Something was always lost on all the other actors that played him....The PAIN and GUILT. We see brief moments of it in the past movies, but it wasn't so bad that one would think they would dress as a bat and fight crime. Bale and the script synched it!

Scarecrow. Mixed feelings. Well played, but not enough of him, AS the Scarecrow. But I was still happy with the result. The whole asylum thing left it VERY VERY open for MANY MANY sequels. So I can't complain.

Conspiracy after conspiracy! Loved it!

Several people told me the first hour was boring. I didn't find it boring at all. It was VERY VERY important to the story. And there was plenty of action and suprises.

Alfred had his regular wit

I like how Gordon grew in the police force in the background.

And the ending...the very end with the "calling card"....I have high hopes that Harley will be joining the cast of characters *fingers crossed*

All in all...BEST Batman ever! THANK YOU FOR BRINGING BACK THE BAT!!!

I might watch this movie one day, Ebert & Roeper gave it two thumbs "way up!" That happens maybe twice a year.

I recommend for anyone planning on seeing this at all, don't wait for the DVD. This is a movie not to be missed on the big screens! The views are breathtaking (and for a change, they're real!), the stunts are great and seeing the car chase alone on the big screen with the heavy sound is worth the admission all on its own!

Not sure if it was mentioned before, but on Daily Buzz the other week they talked about this movie and mentioned a scene where Batman is on top of a skyscraper looking for Gotham.
Now when I saw the movie, there were 2 scenes of this, but I believe it is the one where he is standing on a part of the skyscraped that is sort of seperated from the rest of it, like a parapet. And his cape is flowing in the wind. It was a beautiful scene.
But what what made it special....it was NOT CGI or blue screen. It was a real stunt man on a real skyscraper in a real city at night, with the wind blowing and everything. I heard about it before I saw the movie, so I looked out for it. It was awesome

Exactly! They did not use CG for almost anything!!! I think it's a rare treat to see a movie so real and authentic, especially for a blockbuster! Even the batmobile is real, stunts are real and the city is real (all sets or real city shootings). Only Gotham overviews used a bit of CG.

Like I said before this movie, Batman and Batman Returns are the best Batman movie's ever. I was glad they didn't have Gorge play Batman again he was awful.

Out of a scale of 1-10 I give it a 1,000,000.

I have saw this movie today! INCREDIBLE!

I have never been a fan of Batman, until now. Such great performances, and a very exciting adventure story. My favorite scene was the car chase!

I also really liked the ending! I guess we're going to have a sequel with the joker!

Anyway the only problem I had was at times it was a bit confusing to pick up with the story since at times it was going a bit fast.

But overall this is probably my favorite Superhero movie! 9.5/10

And no MMP, it wasn't as good as ROTS!

The suposed sequel is the very first Batman movie(where Michael Keaton performs as Batman, Jack Nicholson as the Joker

Actulally, there will be a new sequel with the Joker - Begins has absolutely nothing to do with the Burton/Schumacher series. And how could it? There are inconsistancies between the two, including who killed his parents.

I saw this without having seen anything involving Batman prior, and was completely amazed.

What I heard Batman Begins 2 and Batman Begins both focus on The Joker.

So long as Katie Holmes gets either killed or not part of the sequel, I'm all for it! I found her character to be drab and dull, not because that's just how the character was, but also because it seems all Katie Holmes can ever do is play Joey Potter with different names and hints of a personality that doesn't allow you to think Joey Potter.

But overall, I loved the movie. I bought the less-than-barebones 1989 Batman, expecting to be wowed the way I was when I first saw it (never in its entirety, only on Circuit City TV screens during trips to the mall in...1990 or 1991), and found it to be stellar, but Begins beats it by far.

I can understand how they're really going to stray away from the Burton films and the Schumacher films, as Burton's was...well, Burtony, while Schumacher was trying to be camp, action, humor...essentially more than one genre, and that's what killed it.

I hope they include Robin in later films, maybe even show him as Nightwing.

Right now it is TOO early to tell what the 3rd movie will be about.

The 2nd movie left no doubt that Joker would be next. What I want to know is....Will Harley Quinn be at his side?

For the longest time, a rumour that would not die said Batman Begins or it's sequel would be about Mad Hatter, Harley Quinn, and Scarecrow teaming up. Each with their own agenda. Harley of course being to free Joker, and thus open up for the next movie. So if the rumours were true, then they simply cut out Harley and Mad Hatter for Batman Begins and gave Scarecrow some screen time. So now I wonder if Harley will make it. I know Paul Dini and Bruce Timm REALLY want to see her make it to a Batman movie, but to my knowledge, they have no control over these movies. But I am sure they are pitching the idea anyways. Harley has always been one of my favorite characters. I'd love to see her on screen, but of course Joker would have it all.

I was never a fan of Jack's rendition of Joker. First off, he was too old. Second, he was too big. Joker is slim and in his 30s-early 40s, at the most. Jack is a good actor and he played a good Joker for the script and all, but he was just not Joker for me.

I just hope we'll see a psycotic and twisted Joker (as we did with Scarecrow) and not something along the lines of the last films where he was half a comedian (as were the other villians). I expect his jokes to be dark and in a way, unfunny because they're sickening. I really hope the sequels don't go in a downward trend like last time. We've started off to a good beginning, now lets hope it continues along these lines.

Bravo Siren!

You've summed up what was wrong with Jack perfectly. Nothing was more annoying to me than seeing his fat Joker face, when it should have been long and drawn out (like a horse's)

If need be, add a little make-up on this new Joker to make the chin longer.

Well, they could aways put Bruce Timm and Paul Dini in charge to ensure that doesn't happen.

Oh, I forgot, Warners won't do that as Bruce and Paul only make "Children's Shows". Not like the mature output of Schumaker's films.

I find it funny how people think this movie will not do so well BO wise as Batman doesn't come in until after the first hour. And Batman's the main event. Well, I do so happen to know a movie that's main event was a character dressed in black. And this character was only in the last five minutes of this film. And this certain film is doing spectacularly at the BO. BB will be fine.

That and Batman Begins' function was for Batman to BEGIN -- it's an origin film. Origin films by their nature always deal with the "how" and take longer to get to the superhero because it has to explain how we got there first.

Batman Begins is not puting up the numbers that Spider-Man or a more mass-appeal superhero film would, but Warner Bros. seems to be pleased, and I think it's doing very well considering its almost-artsy character slant.
