How long is it going to be in theaters? Considering it has yet to top its original, I don't think it can top Titanicright now. It came out weeks ago, interest is dying down.

It's been out almost three weeks now. But remember that there was hardly a crowd for Titanic when it first came out in theaters.

I see. I think one of the reasons why that movie was popular was because of the physical appearence of Mr. deCaprio. Are there any males or females that you think can be attractive to numerous adolescents?

Well in Star Wars there is Natile Portman who I think is very hot! :D And I guess some girls might think Hayden is hot, especially when he has no shirt on.

Hmm...well, then I guess the movie could top Titanic. I hope it does, even if I haven't seen it. That's because I think Titanic and Mr. diCaprio are both highly overrated.

I second that! :jawdrop: (I couldn't resist)

I can think of some people who can be attractive to numerous adolescents, but it would take me a while to make a list. :P
And even if Star Wars RotS doesn't surpass Titanic in the box office, that's not a bad thing. It will probably get very near, or at least in the top 10. And Titanic is overrated, yes, but still very good.

Also consider that Titanic was the biggest budget for a movie at the time it came out and that it was produced by 2 major film studios. Had the film not made a profit, both studios would have had egg on their faces. Notice that there was no major competition for the movie when it was out?

Time will tell? It's falling now at a pace where it will wind up with about $385 million. There is no chance it will beat Titanic domestically, adjusted or not.

It will set new records by the time it is out of theaters. It is going to out at least 2 more months.

What records will those be? Lowest total following a $50 M opening day? Fastest film to $300 M...that never made it to $400 M? :P

It did exceed my prediction and expectation (which I would have altered around opening week), but not by too much looking at the latest numbers - I expect it will now wind up around $375-$380 M. Had there been another big event film in theaters like there was three years ago, I don't think it'd have made it to $300 M. But that's more because the box office is universally down and not because of anything to do with the film itself.

DavisDVD has posted some broad specs for the DVD (they list the street date as November 1). It's nothing very specific, yet, but it seems to match Episodes I and II's DVD's perfectly:

* Audio Commentary Track
* Full-length Documentary
* Exclusive Featurettes
* Web Documentaries
* Five Fully-Produced Deleted Scenes
* Photo Gallery
* "Battle of the Heroes" Music Video
* Teaser and Launch Trailer
* Twelve TV Spots
* Video Game Trailer
* "Star Wars Battlefront II" game demo
* DVD-ROM links
