Okay, Lazario. I'm trying not to be inflammatory, but you were going too far. You were practically bashing me when I gave you no cause. All I was doing was expressing my opinion and you jump all over me?

DROP IT NOW.

And if you can't act civil with me, don't bother answering my posts. I won't reply. I'd rather have fellow forum members who are civil to me and respect my opinion than someone like you. Oh, yes, I'm aware of how you've acted toward others on here. BUT DON'T DO IT TO ME. I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT.

Forum Mods, forgive my rant, but this burns me up.

Lazario has a different opinion. If you are allowed to express yours, why isn't he allowed to express his?

Why don't you just answer to the points that I have made, instead of throwing in easy, lazy Bible verses? Anybody can quote the Bible. But can you explain to me why God would put warmongers like Reagan and the Bushes in power? One million Iraqi's dead and four million seeking refuge; is that God's will?

Excuse you? You're the one going off on one political side for as you say- supporting abortion, and my reply of "It's because of thinking like that that they invented Separation of Church and State" is "going too far"?

Tell me why. Seriously, I'm all ears. Tell me...

But, let me guess first: because your religion tells you Separation of Church and State is a bad thing...

Okay, that was childish, but admit it - it's not far off from the truth, is it? You'd be perfectly happy if your religious leaders forced us by law to live our lives YOUR way, without giving us the freedom to choose for ourselves. Wouldn't you?

If it means you don't have to remain accountable for the statements you made on the last page, I think you would be.

Oh, that's not what this is about. It's about the fact that I dismissed her point of view. Not because I wasn't civil to her, like she claims. But because I won't accept someone's "view" on an issue they refuse to think over. It's a clearly Republican point of view that they must always push: I can't accept other people supporting abortion (picture them, as they say this, in high-pitched playground mimick-voice: sticking their tongue out like a pig-tailed, freckle-faced, brunet pre-K girl in red Osk Kosk Bagosh's while they wiggle their hands on the sides of their face at you)... You can't? Great, the last thing we need in America is another Republican-voting citizen. Take a hike then.

We know what this is really about: "I can't accept that anyone in America supports abortion." You know how I know this? They never shut up about it. They always want to lay guilt trips on people who don't agree with them. They always try and challenge the laws. And they always have to bring up religion, what their religion says, and immediately associate themselves with that religion. So they look good by their own hype. And women who've had abortions don't want to be judged. And people who care more about the overpopulation problems this world is facing rather than whether or not the Pro-Lifers who feel God will punish them for not being brutal in their attacks on Pro-Choicers will go to hell or not - we don't need to hear this crap anymore.

The overriding issue is thus: babies are a lump of jell with no human characteristics when they are ready to start growing. Birth control and abortion done at its' earliest stage are not really that bad, and no amount of moralizing will cloud the rationality on this. The most important point on this issue WILL ALWAYS BE that banning abortion will hurt more people in the longrun than allowing it will. IF one mother who wants an abortion has to die because she can't get a legal one, that'll be worse than all the aborted baby deaths could ever be. A mother is a real living person with experience who knows the value of her own life.

For all you eavesdropping (you naughty little birds!!), I know that is really harsh sounding. But the fact that it's kinda hard to take doesn't make it any less true.

SO PUT ON A HAAAAPY FAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!! :)

I think she won't answer you because: this whole thing has come as quite a shock to her. You see, it would have to be, because anyone crazy enough to admit to supporting Bush, or Republicans, for moral reasons... is not aware of how many innocent people they've killed in this war nor how easy it's been to find out about it.

At the very least, Princess is a major hypocrite.

So there's a health reform bill now, drawn up by one senator Max Baucus. It seems to lack one critically important component...

the reform! There's no public option in it.

Former health insurance employee turned whistleblower Wendell Potter talked about it on 'Real Time':
