I like that DVD fan-art, but whats with Baloo's red nose :P Plus if you don't look at King Louie, it looks like Baloo has a kidney hanging out or something.

Josh: kudos on your 1st Photoshop cover, I can see where Shere Khan will be on the offical.

My guess on the cover went something like this:

Bottomleft: Shere Khan/Col. Hathi

Bottom Right: The Vultures/Wolves

Top Left: Baggerha/Monkeys

Top Right: Kaa/King Louie

Bottom Center: Man Village

Center: Baloo/Mowgli (Both are stars of the film)

again that's my specs. for the cover art, so it'll problaly look something like that.

write back please

I'd like a fuzzy slipcover similr to the muppet show season 1 one. Just with baloo plush/fuzz (don't know what to call it)

has anybody else noticed that the Jungle Book's cover art was the same for the black diamond and masterpiece edition VHS and the laserdisc and the Limited Issue DVD (except for a title banner change). mabey the continue the tradition by making the PE cover art the same as all the others :P

I hope the cover art includes all of the main characters somewhere on it. (Mowgli, Baloo, Shere Khan, Kaa, King Louie, and Baggerha). I like it when everyone gets their place on the cover.

Haha, I thought it was kinda lame how Disney reused their cover art. Hopefully the PE cover art will make up for the recycled cover arts for all of its home video releases. Or, it will still be the same.

Nice work on the cover art danfrandes but when the Platinum Edition is released in 2007 it will be The Jungle Book's 40th Anniversary, not it's 30th!

That's right. I mentioned that on my cover art. Click on it to see, if you want.

What he means is that he hopes that Disney will make cover art LIKE that, with the film's title printed in place of "celebrate the 30th anniversary of..."

**By the way, that was an advertisement for the films re-release on VHS in 1997, if I remember correctly (I could be wrong)**
