Ok ... before I start ... I must confess ...

I HATE IANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

There I feel better now ...

Well ... another wonderful episode ... We are only on episode 3 ... yet it feels like I've seen so many more episodes have passed ...

I must admit I enjoy seeing Nora and Lynette bicker ... It was nice how they added some extra levels to their relationship in this episode ...

Eva has really taken the bull by the horns ... I love how she just engulfs herself in comedy ... She was really good tonight ... Gaby's comment about trading lives ... well that is ... not trading lives with Lynette ... and the luggage gag were hilarious! But Gaby needs to be the adult and take Carlos back ... but next week looks sooooo good as she is being forced out of her home ... in handcuffs LOL (Can we say ... trespassing???) LOL I am guessing Carlos can do this cuz maybe her name isn't on the property papers ...

Poor Bree ... watching her son get interviewed on news ... just another homeless teen ... I loved how Orson took charge ... and wanted things to be made right for his bride ... how hurt he was to see Bree in so much pain ... and he went and found Andrew and pitched to him the idea of coming back home ... and yes ... the prodigal son returns ... and it seems that next week his "street hustler" past comes back to haunt ... Bree!

I am kinda liking the bad boy giving the eye to Julie. She really needs some spice in her life ... but with Edie's warning ... will that stop her? and ummm ... I wonder what a certain Mr. Young will think of this???

O gosh Susan!!!! Why oh why oh why oh why! I don't know if it's the character ... or maybe it's the actor ... but I just don't like Ian ... or maybe it's I just don't like Dougray Scott being Ian ... But gosh ... It's like ICK! I mean I so enjoyed the whole misunderstandings and misinterpretations they had ... that was funny ... But gosh ... did you have to do him ??? NO!

And of course ... just as she's in bed with another man ... Up goes Mike ... Yes! He's awake ... and with a spiteful ... PO'd Edie there waiting to tell him anything to make him hate Susan ... Suuuusaaaan .... u gotta lotta splainin' to do!

Wow! The episode, tonight, was freaking awesome! I really feel that Desperate Housewives is back on the right track. The last two episodes have elements that were interesting, but, tonight, it felt very right!

I don't even know where to begin. First, as Orson and Bree were preparing to go off on their honeymoon, Bree saw Andrew on the television, while they were running a story on the homeless. Bree freaks out, and says that they have to go and find Andrew. Needless to say, honeymoon over.

Susan went off with Ian to a "romantic" getaway. It doesn't go well, as Ian reveals to Susan that his wife is the only person he's ever slept with. He then asks Susan how many men she's been with, which leads to him saying a few things which puts Susan off.

Lynette and Gabrielle go off on a spa vacation, only to have Tom, who has taken the kids camping, interupt their trip, because he has thrown his back out. He asks Lynette to come and get him. She's reluctant, only to give in. However, as she's preparing to go, Nora just invites herself to ride with Lynette. Lynette is less than thrilled (wouldn't you be?!). This leads to Lynette and Nora getting into it, exchanging insults. Nora becomes upset, when she says, "You'd just love that, if I killed myself", to which Lynette snappily says, "I would find a way to move on". You go, girl! Nora ends up demanding that Lynette pull over, and she goes to hitch a ride with a truck driver.

Gabrielle ends up dining alone, and leaves the restaurant, only to run into John. They end up jumping in bed together (would you have expected anything less?), only to have John answer the phone, after they have had sex, and find out his fiance is on his way up. It seems that John has become very successful in his time away, and met the daughter of a very wealthy man, who owns a chain of hotels. John insists that Gabrielle leave, but, Gabby wants to stay and meet his fiance. His fiance knocks on the door, and John lets her in. Gabrielle is nowhere to be seen. John is trying to find a way to get Gabrielle out, without his fiance finding out. Apparently, he has stuffed her into a suitcase. He claims that the zipper is stuck, and states that he needs to take it to the lobby to have it fixed. He takes the suitcase onto the elevator, and his fiance (I believe her name is Tammy), comes out, and asks where he got this watch. It's Gabrielle's watch. John lies, and says that he got it for her, but, didn't have time to wrap it. She goes up to John, to hug him, while the door to the elevator shuts, with Gabrielle stuck in the suitcase. Eventually, she gets herself out, and quips, "Don't laugh. I saved a ton of money on airfare", to the people in the elevator.

Edie comes home to find her nephew, Austin, over at Susan and Julie's house, helping Julie turn the electricity back on. She sends Austin to her house to make her a drink, and tells Julie to stay away from him. Julie insists that she has no interest in him. Edie says, "Oh, honey, that's what all the good girls say, before they become the bad girls." Edie tells it like it is!

Danielle was finally back in the picture, revealing to Orson the truth behind Andrew being gone, and the fact that Bree hasn't told him everything. Bree finally catches up with Andrew, who doesn't want to listen to her, and runs off. Back home, Orson can see the pain that Bree is feeling, who reveals that if she doesn't complete her chore (planting flowers), she'll go inside and drink an entire bottle of wine. Orson goes off, and finds Andrew. He gives Andrew money, and takes him to lunch, where Andrew realizes who he is. Orson tells him that he should come back home, and let go of his rage, because he knows what rage can do. He leaves, telling Andrew, "You know where to find us."

In the end, Edie goes to the hospital, to get her CD player back. Susan had borrowed it back when they were "friends", and had taken it to the hospital to play music for Mike. After Edie steals the chocolates that were in his room, lifts up his gown to take a peek at his "equipment" (to which she says, "Wow, and that's with the coma"), she starts walking out, and Mike opens his eyes!

As Mary Alice begins her commentary, we see that Susan has slept with Ian, Tom and Lynette returning home, Gabrielle returning home, Mike opening his eyes, and Andrew knocking on the door at home, as Bree opens it.

Very excellent episode, and certainly the best of the season, so far. Yes, Desperate Housewives is back, and better than ever! I can't wait until next week!

Tonight was fantastic! I feel so sorry for Bree! I hope Andrew treats her better, now that he's back, but I highly doubt that will happen. That little creep deserved to get dumped on the side of the road!

Funny, I was about to write the exact same thing. He's beyond irritating at this point. Susan can do better than him! As for the episode, it was decent. Nothing too fancy. I liked the ending though. Having Mike back so soon will be interesting since Susan obviously still isn't that into Ian! We'll also finally see the mystery of Hodge and Delfino unwrap. I'm still waiting to see what happened to Zach though... Hmm...

P.S. Am I the only one that was relieved when they finally mentioned the Scavo's money issues? It seemed that up until this point it is as if they just ignored the fact that last season they were both left unemployed.

And remember, if you missed last night's episode it is currently available on www.abc.com and it is free to watch, and almost commercial free. Good way to rewatch something and see if you missed anything the first time around.

I think that this season is going to be the best ever. Can't wait for next week to see Carlos having Gaby removed from their house. Should be interesting about Mike opening his eyes and the 'trampy' Edie there to snitch on Susan.

Oooooooohhhhh, this is going to get good.

hehehe ... I guess great minds think alike ....

As to the Scavo's being unemployed ... Lynette has her job ... Tom was the one that got fired for punching (I forget his name) the boss ...

Really? I could've sworn that I remember seeing Tom and Lynette lying in bed thinking about where to get extra cash from, since they're both unemployed.

My claim to fame (LOL) is having a good memory ...

and I know the scene you are referring to ... it was after they met Nora ... and about paying her off and things like that ...

But I think they were worried about the money issue because they no longer had two paychecks to work with ...

Plus if you remember in last night's episode ...

Lynette did say how she ... "worked 12 hours ... get home to a house with 3 kids (seems like more) ..." in response to Nora calling her a "super mom" ...

Ed.

And last night's episode was nothing but frustrating! I am so PISSED that Susan slept with Ian. He's such a sleeze to cheat on his poor wife.

Gabby just keeps going backwards. If it's not being angry at Carlos, it's sleeping with John.

I appreciate that Orson got Andrew back, but I feel like he has some alterior motive...this guy is not nice. And what about Monique!?!!?

Mike is AWAKE! I hope Edie doesn't ruin things between him and Susan...
But I do think Edie needs a better storyline than just being the resident b****.

Yeah, the man's only waited for, what? 3 years now...? It's not cheating when your wife has been MIA for years.

If she is still his wife and still alive, it's cheating.

You and I both know it's not that black or white. But this isn't the place to discuss this, so we'll leave this for another time.

Last nights episode was great! Season 3 rocks!

Bree, Orson, and Andrews story was good, and it only appears to be getting better.

I agree, I don't like Ian. Susan just appears to be getting more and more pitiful as the series goes on, but I guess that's the way it is supposed to be.

Gabby's whole thing tonight was hilarious! I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Mr. John Rowland. I was a little concerned at first with Gabby being in the suitcase. I thought "there's no way she could fit" but, they actually showed her in it! An her line as she got out was hilarious "What are you looking at? Saves me a bundle on air fare"

Lynette's story didn't really seem to get anywhere. Sorry, but it just didn't jump out at me tonight.

And then there's the big cliffhanger. Mike's back! I can't wait to see what happens with him. Apparently he's supposed to be "darker" after he wakes up.

Oh, and Bree's line from next week sounds hilarious...

ORSON: When Andrew was on the street, men payed him to....do stuff.
BREE: ....yard work?

Aside from the fact that you have no business telling me what I know, I agree that this is no place for a frivolous arguement.

I can't wait for tonights new episode. Make sure all of you "Desperate" fans tune in!

Here's some more casting news, which is very exciting:

Sitcom vet Dixie Carter (for whom Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry once worked as a personal assistant) has booked a short run on the ABC serial as the mother of Kyle MacLachlan's Orson, says the New York Post....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's exciting news! I love Dixie Carter, and I can't wait to see her appearance on the show.

Another great episode, tonight! I'm so glad that Desperate Housewives is back in top form!

First up, I love the way Edie said she could help Mike "fill in the blanks" in his missing memories of the last two years. Oh, Edie, you evil woman! That's why I love Edie. She's so EVIL!

So, the Hodge's are saying that Andrew was away at a "drama camp". Interesting. Andrew's "performances" were certainly interesting. He offered his "peformances" to men who paid him. Orson had to break the news to Bree.

Carlos and Gabrielle. Great stuff! Their storyline is so funny. I love how Carlos came out in his T-Shirt and boxer shorts, right in front of Lynette and Bree.

Lynette paying off that pitcher, so that Parker could get a hit, and Lynette getting found out, because Parker hit the kid in the head. How funny! Then, it bit her in the behind, because Parker and the other kid, both got kicked off their teams.

Edie helping Mike with his memories, and filling in the blanks for him, was quite entertaining. Of course, it's not too far from the truth, where Susan is concerned. Orson came to pay a visit, and learned from Mike's doctor that Mike suffered severe memory loss. How lucky for Orson, huh? I can't wait to see how that plays out!

Oh my gosh! Bree going to tell Dr. Keck's wife that Andrew was hired by her husband to perform sexual acts on him. Then, Vera Keck decides to let Bree in on a little secret...Danielle has been sleeping with her history teacher!

Gabby getting thrown into jail for "assulting" the two police officers was hilarious. Oh, Gabby. Carlos bailed her out, then said that he still loves her, and Gabby said she didn't love Carlos. Carlos said that she's just saying that to hurt him, and she said, "No, if I wanted to hurt you, I would have told you about last weekend". Then, she told Carlos about sleeping with John Rowland. Carlos was so mad, he stopped the car, dragged Gabrielle out of the car, and left her on the side of the road.

Bree and Danielle argued about Danielle's relationship with her history teacher. Danielle stormed out, and Andrew actually provided comfort to Bree.

Susan finally got to the hospital to see Mike, after telling Ian that their affair should never have happened. When Susan speaks to Mike, he doesn't seem to be thrilled to see her. Of course, Edie has been filling his head with all sorts of thoughts. Mike tells Susan not to come back, until next week. As Susan walks out of his room, confused, we see Edie smile, and go back in. Mike asks Edie if he was in love with Susan, to which Edie replies, "No, I don't think so."

Oh, what an episode! Next weeks looks like it's going to be great, as well. I can't wait!!!

I wasn't really impressed by this week's episode ...

Half of the storylines were pretty blah ...

I didn't really find Lynette's storyline tonight interesting ... nor the whole Ian/Susan escapade ...

On to the part of the episode that was really good ...

I was happy that Mike woke up ... and oooh that scheming temptress known as Edie was there to sink her claws into an amnesiac Mike ... telling her a very ... ummm ... interesting version of the events of the past two years ... and stupid Susan returning (after spending many a days screwing Ian) to a neu-Mike ... a Mike that doesn't like Susan ...

Andrew is back ... and so is his soul apparently ... I liked seeing a kinder ... gentler Andrew ...

Well ... as we saw in the preview ... Andrew's days as a street hustler came back to bite the Hodge's in the ass ... and we also learned the true reason why Danielle is her teacher's #1 student ...

So it seems that this season Danielle is the rebel in the family ... and Andrew is the one consoling his mother ... I thought there last scene together ... where Andrew and Bree embraced each other ... was very heartwarming ... especially since the past two years have found the two going at it ...

Gaby and Carlos Solis :: The War of the Roses 2006 ... Gotta love it! From the Carlos sponsored garage sale ... to Carlos "moving" back into the house ... to Gaby changing the locks ... to Carlos breaking in ... to Gaby calling the police and being scared because she thinks her intruder "is a Mexican" LOL ... to Gaby going to jail ... to Carlos leaving Gaby on the side of the road LOL ... gotta gotta love it!

Next week looks great ... Susan breaking Mike out of the hospital ... Danielle being the P.O.'d teen that she is ... Tom opening a pizza parlor ... and Carlos bringing home a date ...
