Now this is confusing. Looks like many featurettes have been re-classified (or were these missing from the intital UK release?)

TOY STORY 2 - MUSIC FEATURETTE - DVD BONUS
TOY STORY - THE STORY BEHIND TOY STORY

MONSTERS INC - MIKE'S NEW CAR - DVD BONUS
MONSTERS INC - FOR THE BIRDS

A BUGS LIFE - OUTTAKES - DVD BONUS

I can only suggest a Pixar promotional disc could be in the works somewhere?

The only other news is more Spy Kids 3

SPYKIDS 3 - GAME OVER
Run Time 78m 53s
Widescreen, DVD audio commentary, 2D version

SPY KIDS 3-D - GAME OVER
Run Time 80m 53s
Widescreen, DVD Director's audio commentary,

An audio commentary on both versions? And the 3-D version is longer... one wonders if there will be any other version differences?

Not much to report, the actual films of Brother Bear and Springtime with Roo have just been passed (both are "widescreen"):

BROTHER BEAR
Run Time 81m 32s
Advice for consumers
Concise Contains mild animated fight scenes and peril
Language None
Sex/Nudity None
Violence Some, mild
Other None

WINNIE THE POOH - SPRINGTIME WITH ROO
Run Time 62m 35s [sadly, rather short]
Advice for consumers
Concise Contains no sex, violence or bad language
Language None
Sex/Nudity None
Violence None
Other None

I'm a little concerned that none of the extra Lion King 3 supplements have been passed - the DVD release is only a few days away. While it's not uncommon for the BBFC website to publish classifications after the content has been released in the shops, Disney has a habit of getting all their content passed early.

Oh well, hopefully the Brother Bear supplements will be posted on the BBFC site soon...

What?!?! I thought this was a Pooh release!
What happened to the great days of Pooh as a biker, who used to breeze into town, have a glass or four, hire a hooker, get into a knife fight, only to then pass out in a pool of his own vomit (and sometimes someone else's).

Pooh has just sold out, as far as I'm concerned!!!

Lol Loomis  I too think that this is very stupid from Disney to put that with it, maybe the parents will even freak out when they hear the word sex in that line!. Anyway, Winnie the pooh Springtime with Roo looks differently animated to me than the Tigger movie. The previous ones were more drawn style, now they're so smooth... Anyway, that's not the topic here, so we'll just get back on topic :P

Hey 2099net, at the risk of asking a question to which everyone else knows the answer, do you work for the BBFC?

I'm only interested because I have a sibling who went (unsuccessfully) for a couple of interviews there as a censor.
Just release every Disney full-length toon on DVD - now, damn you!

I think I can field that one, if I may Netty?

No, he just has lots of time on his hands. :D

And he is a good egg generally....

No, I just visit the website a lot. I post the classifications because Buena Vista UK don't really believe in issuing press releases for most of their releases, so people like us have to view the BBFC site and e-tailers upcoming release lists just to get a clue as to what is likely to be released.

Ah. A surefire way to warp your sibling's "fragile little mind" - to be exposed to such filth, violence and swearing on a daily basis! And that just the co-workers! :)

Seriously, the introduction of the R18 certificate didn't have something to do with your sibling going for the job did it?

More non Disney news, this time for Luke - your wish is being granted (in the UK at least) Denver The Last Dinosaur DVDs!

Dear 2099net - My sibling's mind is already pretty warped!

In fact, he think he applied for the job thinking that it might help him, as he'd have to watch some nice family films sometimes!!!

There's not been much to report recently, but here's a round up of recent classifications (no matter how trivial).

other stuff, probably not worth mentioning are:

DUCKTALES THE MOVIE: TREASURE OF THE LOST LAMP - DVD MENUS

LION KING II: SIMBAS PRIDE - DVD MENUS
(notice no disc numbers mentioned anywhere - could the UK be a single disc?)

LIZZIE MCGUIRE
SERIES 2 - EPISODES 32-37

00:22:34:05 | LIZZIE MCGUIRE

(they seem to have upped the episode count on the UK DVDs, which I remind everybody are released complete in chronological order)
